No seriously. Zaeed and Miranda died the most. TBH.

Everyone dies a lot. Except for Grunt (who has a lot of health and armor), because the squad AI is utterly moronic (especially when it comes to husks)

It's always a running battle to keep the squad properly positioned without them trying to shoot a YMIR mech point blank with their sniper rifle :(

Husks are why I never will have a Sentinel or Adept without Throw on hotkey. Better too fill the air with mass effect fields then let my party get ****slapped. Speaking of Husks and Throw. I made a Husk go into orbit on the suicide mission by hitting it before it had climbed all the way up

I normally never had trouble with Eclipse since they were a mix of techs and barriers and the only time I saw them barrier heavy is Samara's recruitment since almost everyone there was an asari. When I was taking on Thane's recruitment, they were a bit more mixed and the same goes for Garrus' recruitment in them being mixed up with tech and barriers.

His AP Ammo is what really saves him since he can tear the hell out of almost everything. The suicide mission is the only time that his lack of options against barriers really starts to hurt.

I am maining Mordin right now for my run with my Sentinel to spam the hell out of Shock and Fireballs.

You are probably right about the Eclipse, Samara's mission was the last thing I finished.  I had a bit of regret bringing Garrus, he did not do a lot for me then.  I am rolling Engineer + GSB and kinda wish I brought Jack.

I have done the Mordin Sentinel thing myself.  He actually never left my squad with Miranda, except for loyalty runs.  I know it is off-topic, but does it seem like Mordin's incinerate does really good damage against shields?

Reasoning behind most of those? Miranda never leaves most parties and Kasumi is good enough for the same thing.

Most of the people you have ranked high are way to specialized to be any good outside of a few missions that are tailored to them by design.

Wait, Tali and Legion are pretty much the same. How did they end up on opposite sides of the spectrum? Tali's annoying fans? In my experience, they both do the best when paired together.

OT: I don't think there really is a good answer for this. Different classes and different playstyles as well as different enemy types mean there is no real best, just different. I don't seem to do well with a biotic squad. That doesn't mean biotics suck, it just means that they don't match my playstyle.

Mordin's Incenerate is his tech version of Warp. It just doesnt care what it hits when it blows up. I just Warp/I Blasted Harbingers left and right so far on the suicide mission and using my Throws to punt everything else out of the way.

Since Kasumi came out, I havent even been using Garrus since she blows him out of the water and is almost just as busted all around as Miranda it if you can ignore the AI.

The IFF mission is where partymembers that use shotguns shine.

OT: I'd actually list Legion lower on the tier list for the simple fact you get him so late in the game there just isn't much for him to do at that point. Unless you hack him in earlier.

Kasumi's lack of ammo power keeps her on the sideline a lot for me since my favorite classes are the Sentinel, Engineer, and Adept.

Garrus's AP rounds gives him a bit more time as starter for me.

Alright, here's class - B:

Zaeed - His usefulness is debateable(that can be said for any squadmate really), but thanks to his weapon set-up and his upgraded weapon skill and loyalty power, he's very useful in my opinion. Squad Disruptor Ammo is useful for Geth/Mech attacks, and Inferno Grenade is good crowd control when fully upgraded. My perferred weapon set-up is: Vindicator Battle Rifle/Incisor Sniper Rifle.

Thane - Much like Zaeed, when his weapon skill is fully upgraded, he's very useful. While Shredder Ammo is useless, his Warp and sniper will make up for his lackluster loyalty power. My preferred weapon set-up is: Viper Sniper Rifle/Locust SMG.

Legion - I don't know why Legion has the same basic powers as Tali(making him only an upgraded version of her instead of being his own man), but whatever. Thanks to his unique shield upgrades, he can match Grunt in survival on the battlefield. While not a good choice for close range combat, he's perfect just doing sniping and distracting enemies. My preffered weapon set-up is: Geth Pulse Rifle/Widow Anti-Material Rifle.

Mordin - Mordin has just the things to help(badumtish!) While not very good at staying alive, he has great crowd control powers. Plus, he gets points for having the unique tech power upgrade. My preferred weapon set-up is: Tempest Submachine Gun/Carnifex Hand Cannon.

My class - C list coming soon.

The only reasoning I can think of with Legion is the fact that you can ignore Tali altogether while Legion is prettyed up and shown off for you before you get your choice in recruiting him or selling him off. Otherwise I would have liked to see him with something besides hacking or make GSB a main power and something else his Loyalty, like a supporting Ammo power.

Legion can upgrade GSB with a DMG upgrade making him the best sniper along with making him the most durable sniper. He can go on long winded fights and close out the enemies quicker than most. I do not evolve Hack very far, just to unlock drone and a few points in drone still serves as a good distraction.

My major gripe with Legion is you have to put points in a pretty useless skill (AI hacking) to unlock something more useful (Explosive Drone) and doing that prevents you from maxing out Geth shield or evolving his class.

Thats part of my gripe for most of the characters that are not part of the tutorial in any way. They get the short end of the stick and its just not funny when you have to choose to put into something retarded to get something good or have to play russian roulette with a skill that is bad to begin with on a bad character.

I already have a thread for that purpose already opened so if you would like to continue on that line of disscussion, look it up.
