Though I much prefer a more Morrigan-friendly explanation for Flemeth's current appearance.

Who is that Masked Man wrote...
Well, Flemeth did raise Morrigan as her daughter. Maybe Morrigan just got her taste for revealing clothes and her distinctive manner of speaking from her mother.
Oh no doubt- I'm just curious now if the in game model of this "new" Flemeth will look anything like the old one because of the change in visual style across the board or if her new look is going to be explained in the game, seeing as she is a shapeshifting body snatcher and all...

It would be funny if you could return to Flemeth hut like 80 years later. to see this little weak old woman sitting in a corner unable to move ... disabled. "Unable to find a new host ay Flemeth ahahahah *cough*"

I have also heared we will transfer our saved, this could mean that if we killed her she will be in this new body, but if we let her go, she might have possesed Morrigan.

Interesting... But I doubt we will see Flemeth immediatly, perhaps later in the story. Remember how BioWare said that the beginning of DA2 takes place during the fifth blight, so that would mean that Flemeth was still in the wilds.
.
Well, I was thinking that perhaps as Hawke and Bethany are escaping Lothering thats when they run into Flemeth. I'm thinking that maybe the screens we're seeing in GI are just that- Hawke and Bethany escaping the darkspawn from Lothering, as you can see some smoke billowing in the background of one of the screens. And then FLemeth in dragon form meets up with them there. So if FLemeth meets up with Hawk close to the time Lothering was destroyed that would likely be before the Warden could have possibly killed her, so if thats the case she would still be in her "old" body.
But I'm still not convinced Flemeth's new look isn't just a byproduct of the new visual style- nothing sinister with body snatching or anything...

Yes, I knew it...and this also this might mean that Hawkes' sister might play apart in the Flemeth story arc.

Did what? Revealed she was Flemeth? Was he not supposed to?
And I'll be super disappointed if everyone has already guessed the Bethany/Flemeth thing correctly.

I get the impression that Flemeth will fill similar role that Wynne did, I.E. as a wise old woman who give advice to the player. Only, you know...evil.
Oh, you mean like Kreia?

A lot of us are here from the old forums. Javi isn't the only one.

If I had DAO for the PC, I'd have switched to my old femshep avatar long ago. Alas, I do not, I only have a macbook and that thing has no hope of running modern gamesfchopin wrote...

Yeah, I really want to know if this "new" Flemeth is simply part of the new visual design on everything or if there is some sort of in-game explanation? Given that its concept art though, I believe Gaider posted in a thread saying that the in game model for Flemeth doesn't look quite as young and hot as the concept art.
Still, I'm curious if this is just a visual retcon, or what?
She's a thousand-year-old abomination, a shapeshifter who, according to legend (and according to the grimoire you give Morrigan) seduces mortal men in order to get herself more daughters. Her daughters are reputed to be able to kill men with fear. She's both a seductress and a hag. She played up the hag aspect for the Warden, "Oh, never mind me, I'm just a crazy old bat who saved your life! Go on your quest and take my daughter with you! I'm sure nothing terrible could come from that..." But just because the Warden only saw her as the hag, doesn't mean that's all she was...

So what do you think of Flemeth's new look LP?
Well, I can't comment on an in game model, obviously, but she looks beautiful in the art.

If I remember correctly before the release of DA:O there was a short story about a templar trying to find Flemeth in which Flemeth took on three different human forms.Mary Kirby wrote...
