So it took us about 4 years of whining, moaning, and b*tching going back to the old DA forums, but women finally seem to look like women in a Bioware game! Anyone else as excited about this development as I am? :P

Thank you devs!

Doesn't look particularly long to me.

Medium length, sure, but we already had that in Origins.

I'm going to laugh if the cut off for Bethany's hair is right there at the bottom of the screenie.

I want long flowing hair on BOTH sexes.

Personally, I'm more concerned with the flowing.

Just imagine something like this.

Well, I want this and CryEngine 3 on a Dragon Age game.

Hopefully it's not another Miranda trick... when I saw Miranda in some ME2 screenshots before I bought the game I was like "yay! long hair!" only to find and be disappointed that when I finally got to make my character I was left with the same choices as ME1. :(

On a side note; both Hawke and Bethany (assuming its her) look great in that screenshot.

Mike Hawke looks awesome, cept for the non-matching hair to facial hair. But its alpha, so they're still fiddling around.

It's like his beard just wants to jump out and attack you.

His beard has an approval system.

That too. But a beard attack would rock.

Yes, but it was insanely ugly. Her hair has volume.

And I agree with everyone--I'd love to see long hair be an option, I really would. Even if it doesn't go past the shoulder blades, anything that looks remotely attractive would be nice.

Pfft, I want hair that goes halfway down the back for both males and females.

Yeah! I see that now, didn't notice before. Even if you look at his eyebrows they match his hair. Then theres the beard... which looks like its own separate entity. Awesome.

I still totally adore that screenshot. I can't say enough how awesome those characters (not to mention the camera angle/cinematography) are.

That video is pretty amazing too.

I love the waves in her hair. The color, too. The grey in Hawke's beard is a nice touch, as well, assuming that's grey and not Awesome reflecting off of it.

If they keep it like that, his beard better have Overwhelm as one of its attacks.

That video is awesome. I wish more developers took advantage of today's technology and made their games on engines that could support stuff like that.

Again, I bring up CryEngine 3.

It may be a lighting mistake or something, but sometimes people's head hair doesn't match their body hair. I mentioned somewhere else my father had a red beard and black hair. It's not that unusual.

Personally, I like the lady from first Conan movie looks believable as a  warrior. Lady in photo look like padme from starwars caked in make-up. It's like that blond haired chick from lord of the rings, in the two towers you get a few shots of her looking beautiful in a dress  against a nice landscape backdrop. Then in Return Of The King when she stabs Witch King in the face she looks tangible as a warrior (doesn't sound it) but looks it.

In Mass Effect Samara abit difficult to take seriously with  big squid lady potatoes hanging, like she wants to feed the general public her black ink.  Looks more like an old stripper  past her prime (but still hot) than some sort of intergalactic samurai warrior 1000 odd years old.

Well, Miranda in ME2 had some long hair... (actually, I in real life have longer, and I AM A FRIGGIN MALE!) yet femShep had only short or strange hairstyles I mostly used to hate.
