Well, Miranda in ME2 had some long hair... (actually, I in real life have longer, and I AM A FRIGGIN MALE!) yet femShep had only short or strange hairstyles I mostly used to hate.

I love Miri's hair

Her hair isn't long, unfortunately.

Look! It's wavy! We get wavy long(ish) hair! Or it's just the shine on the hair.

Or it's... a unique hair...

Looks similar to Miri's hair length.

Hopefully it's not another Miranda trick... when I saw Miranda in some ME2 screenshots before I bought the game I was like "yay! long hair!" only to find and be disappointed that when I finally got to make my character I was left with the same choices as ME1. :(

On a side note; both Hawke and Bethany (assuming its her) look great in that screenshot.

Ah I was thinking the same thing but think about why Miranda could have long hair and your character could not, it was because Miranda only had 2 costumes the looked pretty much the same except for the recolour.

Long hair on Hawke's sister (it is Hawke's sister isnt it?) could mean, gasp... NO CUSTOMIZATION FOR FOLLOWER ARMOUR.

Told you. Eugh. Come on Bioware. Just once, use an engine that has "Cry" in the name, right before "Engine" and is in its 3rd form.

I really hope it's not. I was disappointed that there was not a single obviously wavy or curly longish hairstyle in DA:O.

Yeah! I see that now, didn't notice before. Even if you look at his eyebrows they match his hair. Then theres the beard... which looks like its own separate entity. Awesome.

It may be a lighting mistake or something, but sometimes people's head hair doesn't match their body hair. I mentioned somewhere else my father had a red beard and black hair. It's not that unusual.

Yeah, I'm blonde, my facial hair is blonde, but for some reason the top parts of my side burns and in a few places throughout the rest of my beard is black.

And I have natural highlights of sorts, where my hair is both brown and black. Facial hair is the same color, but I've got a few golden exceptions.

premade character looks do not matter as it is nearly for sure you won't have the same customization options

Yeah, but we don't even know what the customization options are yet.

So we need to wait.

Looks pretty stiff to me. I guess the hair still defies the law of gravity.

The dress looks like some fancy noblewoman outfit instead of what a mage would wear. Way too much stuff on it.

The hair wouldn't be stiff on another engine(depending on which it is), but alas, they've got to work with what they got.

Still. I'm PRAYING they use a new engine for future games.

What was that statement about "focusing on the technical side of things" and making DA2 look "super hot"? The first thing that came to mind was some level of physics in hair and clothing but technically I can't tell what has improved. On the contrary, it looks like less polygons were used. I suppose time will tell. I hope.

The screenshot looks like the noblewoman was going to a dance but the ogre set her on fire.

I was about to make a CryEngine 3 reference until I realized I did that over and over already.

You didn't notice all my CryEngine 3 mentions?

Wow. Cause I slipped CryEngine 3 into a lot of posts instead of using pronouns.

I'm almost afraid for it to be flowing. I'd rather have plastic hair than anything remotely as horrifying as the hair and clothing flowing in VtMB. Yes, I know its an old game, but I'm still scarred.

A little? Bah, CryEngine 3 deserves the love. I mean, LOOK AT IT.

Hell, I sent a message to Ray about it.
