After a battle with some drakes, my party members do nothing anymore. they dont follow me and just stand there. the only way to move them is to do it manually. I saved and loaded that savegame and the problem remains. I can load an earlier save but I rather not do that since the last few battles where quite difficult.
Can this still be fixed or is this savegame lost?
I have not upgraded to 1.01 and still use version 1.00 because I heard of so much issues with the 1.01 patch.
NPC's do not move anymore, please help.

did you install the toolset? i heard it causes problems with the game. (like if you opened it, it opens the single player campaign by default, and bugs it)

H key is a toggle that holds your party in place or tells them to follow you. it is also the icon just below the character portraits. Give that a shot.

I will try that, I dont believe I clicked on it though, maybe by accident.
I dont have the toolset installed yet, I want to finish the game first otherwise it would spoil the game.

Yeah, it sounds like you have chosen the tactic "Hold Position" and it needs to be changed back to "Move Freely"
