Yep. And I am doing things that way, as it's the most solid way to get things rolling. Also - my apologies if this is a 'thread resurrection', however, I am giving a shameless bump as a form of an update that I am STILL here and going strong now. With nothing but good things happening now, and after an inspirational, major breakthrough, I have a reignited flame to see this project through, including several older projects. A BlogSpot is underway and rest assured you'll all be seeing several previews on NWVault, etc.
The total placeable count for BCK 1, 2, Oriental, Gothic, and Eberron came out in the high 1600's, and with my pack it'll be in the 2200-2400 range, blueprints and all included, of course.
This is a huge undertaking, but it must be done. Alongside all of this my long term goals for the project include converting the models and blueprints afterward to be compatible with the Dragon Age toolset, but that could be 6 months down the road, as this project is my top priority as is the NWN2 series I am working on.

Whee! That's really good to hear and no worries about thread resurrections. We're trying to be more green and not use any more digital board space these days to conserve atomic nuclei density ratios. Nevermind, it's all quantum crap anyhow.
