He die because he an annoying gay. There is difference. Some of them  just are, annoying.  many get job on British tv due to being super friendly, Saturday tv basically full of annoying gay people being jumpy about the place.

Zevran was bisexual, not gay. He was a little forward but I liked this aspect of him. It gave the impression that Ferelden was a bit more open to these types of relationships. Gay gamers and supporters shouldn't have to delve into a fantasy world where gay characters feel afraid of who they are there too.



Also as a gay gamer, I could also complain. Just being remotely nice to Morrigan got that disturbing "It's cold in my tent" conversation out of the blue. AHHHH! I just wanted to know how that grimoire research was coming along. Leliana confronted me about my modded relationship with Gay Alistair so many times, always trying to make me feel guilty. First she tells me she would have stolen Alistair if I hadn't, and then says she understands why he would love me, all mopey and Bella-esque.



Finally, unless I wanted someone to die, I had heterosexual sex forced on me with the Morrigan ritual. So, have sex with Morrigan or die? Can you imagine the uproar if it was "have sex with Zevran or lose your Wardon or Party Member to the Crows?" or something?



So a romance option made a move on you and you weren't interested. Welcome to real life. Real life women hit on me and I'm gay. One even guilt tripped me into a date on Valentine's Day and asked for a kiss (I'm guillible). Gay guys sometimes hit on straight guys. Guys hit on girls who think they are ****s all the time - ever just observe behavior at a straight club? I don't know why girls even go unless they just like getting attention and then leaving to laugh about it.

Mind you, forced Morrigan sex also came with a cut scene. You straight guys that can't stand Zevran at least only had to deal with a line of dialogue here and there. And Zevran while an elf who looked twinky at least had a masculine voice, it could have been worse.

i think bringing zevran back to the game should only happen if they are going to institute a "load DAO saved file" option...



it's hard to explain... but unless bioware gives us this option, then they should simply stick with DA2 being completely detached from the old game...



maybe not bring him back, but rather, introduce a new character who is suave, sexy, witty and most of all bisexual...

You canconvince a replacement canditate to do the Morrigan sex if you want to survive and dont want/cant have sex with her. You still get the short cutscene to watch but considering that it fades to black rather fast, you have to be quite a heterophobe to be seriously upset by that.

To those who have a problem with Zevran, he actually asks you more than once (if you are male) if it is ok for him to flirt with you. None of the other companions do that ( e.g Lelianna dumped one of my wardens twice even though I never said anything particularly flirty to her). A female warden does not even get asked before any of the male LI start flirting with her (Alistair in Ostagar, or Zevran even before he joins the party), so grow up and if he asked if you are ok with him showing interest just say "no thanks".

If you think so simply you can say many people who are not him had it far worse, and they too, compared to other people. The over-arching point  here is, that we are all victims.

But this is what I don't get. He's not even flamboyant! Not on the same level as john barrowman/alan carr/graham norton. When is Zevran 'jumpy about the place'?

I think the only reason you think he is flamboyant is because he isn't ashamed or disgusted by his sexual orientation. I have a feeling that if his personality was exactly the same but he was straight, you wouldn't have an issue.

well to include myself into this dialoge, i didn't like zevran either. not because im a male, i mostly play females, so thats not an issue. reason was, that he (in the german version its much much WORSE than in the english one) has this voice.... that voice is just..... brrr incredibly bad. it totally reminds me of some "seductive" male hooker. thats just a no-go. its just that fake accident. same counts for leliana, but shes not THAT bad, because she appearantly doesn't talk with any accent at all (in the german version of course).
