Legacy of White Plume Mountain: Final Testing

As for design philosophy for sidequests, perfect. The other half gives you an hour of PC time, kill the monsters.
I am with Gilrad though on inventory, tone it down a little. And maybe reintroduce the 3 artefacts give up.
On another note, if I download the current version and play only part of the WPM itself will I be able to download a newer version and carry on? I really want to go further than the fane correctly rather than jump. Also have the the dark desserts been fixed?
Cheers
Damien Jnr.

I've also corrected a spelling mistake in 'Moradin's amulet' blueprint - but can't for the life of me find out where that is placed in the game!
Ziggurat exit should be fixed in latest version
I'm doing some major overhauls to the WPM-based quests - I'll try and have an update up before the weekend if you plan on tackling those next.

How much work is it going to be to get them to play nice? Will it involve going into the toolset and individually reassigning each custom spell effect to a different reference?

I'm talking to kaedrin about this and should have it sorted for release
I've only got minor edits to spells.2da so shouldn't be major

My top guesses would be the Halls of Hammer or the other dwarven tomb up at the top of the map. Other than that, my only thoughts would be Bruennor Battlehammer loot or maybe something one of the joinable NPCs have. I will post if I come across it.WyrinDnjargo wrote...

I was mid game for the latest changes so that may explain my ziggurat issue. I will test to make sure.
Don't hurry on my account. I will be out of town for most of this weekend and can't promise much progress.
Edit: Moradin's Amulet is loot in the false Bajak Thunderfist Tomb.

I've just uploaded what I'm hoping/intending will be the final test version of LoWPM before release at the end of the month. All files have had some tweaking so will need redownloading.
Files and Documentation
Brief walkthrough for sidequests including recommended party level can be downloaded here (Word doc) . Quests range from level 7 to level 16-18, so try any PC group you like and dive in.
A Readme can be found here - please bear in mind my design goals when giving feedback.
Hak file 1 (78Mb) - put in hak directory
Hak file 2 (176Mb) - put in hak directory
Campaign folder (21Mb) - put in Campaigns directory
Sidequest module folders (216Mb) - put in modules directory
Overland map module folder (70Mb) - put in modules directory
WPM conversion module folder (25Mb) - put in modules directory
Where I'm really looking for feedback in these final stages is the main quest, so anyone with time to test out all the White Plume Mountain based quests, I'd really appreciate it. Note that the later stages of the WPM-focussed quests will assume and require that at least some of the sidequests have been completed too.
ETA of campaign on the vault: 31st August.

Like, Black Cherry Pudding? Shadow Plane Ice Cream? Dark Elven T'Keela Cake?

My week is looking to be rather busy. I will try to get to a WPM run but can make no promises. I downloaded the updated files but haven't had a chance to touch the mod. Hopefully others are having better weeks and can do some testing. The 31st is all too close.
No problem. I'm going through myself, and 31st was only and ETA (with an emphasis on the E)
That said, due to the size, I'm fully expecting to have to post bugfixes once its released anyway, so if i'm sure there's nothing obvious like transitions not firing, I should go ahead. It's the kiss of death to say, but in theory it should be pretty robust.
The weekend will be spent with me polishing, and working on a debug-tool

Biggest issue(on the big assumption all transtions work right) is likely to be script/journal updates on creature death, which can sometimes not fire *just because* - so I'll focus on giving the player options to change quest states at key bottlenecks in the tool at first

Campaign folder (21Mb) - put in Campaigns directory
Overland map module folder (70Mb) - put in modules directory
WPM conversion module folder (25Mb) - put in modules directory
Am working on separate HAK to support Kaedrin's PrC pack, which from todays testing seems good to go and gets around problem of reserve feats and some spells not working correctly.
now for some much needed sleep

Am hoping to release later today (waiting for vault ftp details as seem to have changed since I last used it) - so feel free to enjoy DragonCon then kick back and enjoy this
Will likely be rolling in any bugs that are spotted a couple of weeks after release.
