I finished origins, awakening and witch hunt. I read at dragon age wiki that decisions from origins, awakening, witch hunt and golems of amgarrak will be transferred to da2. The things is that golems of amgarrak imports your origins or awakening save without taking into account witch hunt.

Does this mean i´ll have to play witch hunt again after finishing golems of amgarrak? I mean, if the decisions of both DLCs will be transferred and golems of amgarrak doenst take into account witch hunt, im pretty much screwed? Guess i could play witch hunt again, it´s not that long after long. Just wanted a confirmation whether or not golems of amgarrak decisions will indeed be carried over to da2.

Thanks

I have a question of my own, after hearing some things about uploading vs. starting fresh and picking a DAO outcome...

What happens if you import an Orlesian Warden? What presets from the plot of DAO are used in the case of importing an Orlesian's data into DA2? I ask because I roleplay the particular situation like this: I had a Dalish male elf who I US'ed, and the way I roleplay it, the Orlesian Warden I have picks up from there. I want to know whether I can keep this illusion or whether there is a pre-determined background for the Orlesian Warden data import.

Bioware better not leave things out because we did not buy an expansion!

Bioware better include DA:A, for those of us who bought it and struggled through it!

What a chore that must have been! Hope you got paid for it at least...the rest of us find it enjoyable and relaxing. Savvy?

Of course, Errant. I can honestly understand the concerns, as, so far, most of what we have talked about represent changes to a game that you really enjoyed. The simple truth is that if we opened with "Dragon Age II is almost exactly the same game, and we'll talk about some differences later," that would be far more misleading, disingenuous and you would be far more pissed off. I'd rather be up front about what's changing than try to hide it.

That said, I'm not writing anything off. If people are unhappy with what they're hearing, that's fair. If, however, people are unhappy about things that have not been explicitly discussed and assuming that we are going to do the thing that will make them the most unhappy, the discussion rapidly breaks down into upset conjecture.

Therefore, assuming that because the GI article only talked about Origins because we were going to wad up every decision from Awakenings and toss them into the trash falls into that realm of negative conjecture. In truth, we look at Awakenings, Leliana's Song and so on as part of a larger whole that we think of as Origins.

Personally I ONLY go by what you, the devs, say, and refuse to speculate on crap you have not said, as that would just drive me insane. LOL

And you, Chris, David, and other devs have said on numerous occasions that the plan is to include choices from ALL of Origins, including Awakening and the DLC packs, and that's exactly what I keep trying to tell people here. But alas, no one seems to want to listen, and keep asking the same question over and over and over.

My only concern for the past 5 months about our saves are some of the bugs that affected our decisions in Origins will also affect DA2 that it won't recognize them, and if this does pose a problem, will it be fixed before DA2 is released?

Last I heard they were hoping to put a "save game review" together so you could see what choices were present in your save game. How much use that is without the option to change the save game... I don't know. At least you'll know what to expect. Assuming they even have a chance to make the review tool.

So if you play origins and get an end game save, then load that into Awakenings, the take the last save from awakenings and load that into Golems, then take that last save and load it into Witch Hunt, and then load the Witch Hunt save into DA2 that should do it right?

how does the supposed bug when using a post-coronation save (after choosing a boon and talking to your companions) instead of the auto-save after killing the AD affect this? i've heard it messes up what gets recognized in witch hunt, does that mean there's a good chance the our imports into DA2 could carry over the wrong information?

I didn't know about this bug. That is quite concerning. How did you find out about it?

No, Awakening was the easiest thing ever, not a bit of struggle involved.

I heard they fixed that bug now though.

Hi guys!
I have just registered here on these forums, but i am not new here, been here for a year, jut never felt the need to post until now.
The thing is that there are a lot of people who does not have their saves from DAO, Awakenings, etc (including me), forgot to backup before format. So I have an idea to start a save game directory for Dragon Age so people could find something to import to DA2, but to start it I need save game files with decision description so people could choose the best save for them.
It would be really helpful if you could email me your archived save game with description on your decisions to jordanbontoma54@gmail.com
Thanks :)
