I think the younger Flemeth will have a younger voice. How much sense would a raspy voice make coming from that slim piece of concept art we've seen?
Gaider has said elsewhere that that drawing comes across as a bit slimmer and younger than the character will appear in-game.
But in any case, why should an ancient shapeshifter's voice necessarily match her body?

In order for her to seduce Hawke, and the player playing as Hawke, of course. I'm sure she could think of a few good uses for a unstoppable hero...distinguetraces wrote...

In real life, the sound of a voice is shaped by the unique combination characteristics of vocal chords, palate shape, nose/sinuses, diaphram etc. It's simple physics. Why wouldn't that also be true in Thedas?
If Flemeth's entire body is differently shaped with a goal to becoming a seductress, it just stands to reason that she would also have a differently timbred/pitched voice as an outworking of the physical changes in her osopho-laryngeal/nasal parts. And, likely, she will probably even affect a different way of speaking if her goal is to play a seductress.
Now, I'm not saying Flemeth couldn't deliberately reshape her body AND keep her original voice: but it would pretty much have to be a conscience choice to do so given that her body looks nothing like it used to. Personally, I think it would be a very odd decision for a shapeshifting seductress to make and there would have to be some quite compelling rationale behind such a choice. So my guess is that Kate Mulgrew is not going to be the voice of Flemeth this time around. I could easily be wrong, and maybe the fantastic writers at Bioware have something up their sleeves that would make my argument redundant. But, until we hear more, FWIW that's my thinking on the subject.

Taking into account the timeline at which the demo supposedly unfolds, this surely marks the return of Kate!TheGamersHub
The Voice actors certainly aren’t horrendous. Some of them were actually pretty good, and you might just recognize a few voices from the old DAO, *cough* Flemeth *cough*.

I agree that the voice matching the body shouldn't matter. Besides her voice hasn't really changed all that much over the years.

I was glad to hear her voice at the start of the trailer. Kate is awesome and still my favorite Star Trek captain.
As was I.
I think she is great and Voyger is my favourite series thanks in large part to her.......and Jeri Ryan
I even liked her when she turned up in Muder She Wrote.
