Fun Fact: Conobar means Waiter in Croatian !
This gives an additional angle to the Flemeth origin.
Conobar was a waiter who fell in love with the bride of Osen, a Bard. In order to impress her, he told her that he was a Tyern. He agreed to compensate her monetarily for her marriage to himself. To complete the sham he took her to the hotel in Croatia, where he worked part-time. Unfamiliar with European culture, Flemeth assumed that the waiter's uniform was actually his royal dress, and the Hotel his palace. Though the food was bad, she decided to accept Conobar's offer after thinking that she would order new cooks.
When she realized the truth that there were no good cooks she contacted the spirits, namely Whiskey and Rum. Also consuming the popular drug "Lyrium" (I swear I heard the Maker fame) simultaneously, she started living more and more in the "Fade". One day possessed by these spirits she murdered her husband and ran off into the forrest. Later people claimed that her children, the result of fetal alcohol syndrome, were abominations and would lure men with the promise of home brewed Ale. They began to call the brood "Witches of the Wild" after the mother and the daughters started a Night club called "Wild-life".
You then ask, what happened to Osen?
Ironically, Osen was the bard who wrote a ballad based on his tragic love story in third person and became famous overnight. Later he signed in with a band of four Lute players who used Silverite armour to produce noisy sounds and wrote gruesome lyrics, filled with lyrium inspired theme, for their songs. The group was called "The five demons of Fade", Osen assuming the role of Rage Demon. He retired with a million sovereigns and ended up marrying the desire demon Songstress of their band.
They say, that he later went to the underground casino city of Arlathan, ruled by the once Underground Mafia (now Old Farts really), who still ruled it from their prison homes, not much different in style, than the infamous Dons of mario Puzo. We have not heard of him since then...........
