Gonna kill old hag again, no matter what.

I tell you what. Play as a mage. Dress like a Chasind. She digs them. She will see you and swoop on you (yes swooping may be good!) and carry you off to her hut...  As soon as she does, put a forcefield on her. Then use your imagination. B)

You are probably right. Bioware's probably covering their asses with Flemeth no matter what you do to her, so she'll be in DA2, just like they covered their asses with Oghren in DAO so that he could show up in DA:A no matter what you did.

Yeah, being not only a shapeshifter but also a body snatcher, BioWare has plenty of reasons built in for Flemeth re-appearing.

Killed Flemeth in Origins? Morrigan says as much that she has no doubt she will return. Its entirely likely Flemeth could take over any old body or maybe that of another Witch of the Wild- presumably the less the body is prepared for the takeover, the weaker she would be once in the new body.

Let Flemeth go in Origins? Either she found a new body anyway or since she has awesome shapechanging abilities she can just go poof! and change into a new form.

I guess what I'm curious about is just how important it is for her to have a "young" body- I believe Morrigan says she'll need a new one soon or else she'll just be a deaf, dumb husk in no time. Is that really true or was Flemeth playing Morrigan?

And with all this talk of shapeshifting, Flemeth all of a sudden is reminding me of Clay Face from Batman- I'm wondering now if she didn't impersonate somebody along the way in Origins to get something from the Warden...

And last little thought- Morrigan mentions seeing Flemeth as a beautiful woman with dark hair when she was young. Was Flemeth just shapeshifting then or does her outward "default" human appearance become affected by her use of magic? Kind of like in Neil Gaiman's Stardust, where whenever the witches use magic, they become uglier and basically age more rapidly?

Second, there is an option to *not* kill Flemeth in DAO, so this brings up some interesting questions. Did Morrigan actually mistake Flemeth's intentions? Did Flemeth really have a host already picked out? Flemeth seems to have retained her powers, what with the dragon shapeshifting and all.

Even if you kill her, Morrigan (and the codex entry) make it clear she's not gone for good. That's Bioware covering their asses for ya.

Lastly, my Warden can kill with fear, too. It's called Sleep+Horror. :P

Don't forget Waking Nightmare! Makes fighting darkspawn like watching a Punch & Judy show.

I didn't forget Waking Nightmare, I just found it totally useless. :/ Invariably, the 'random' choice of what enemies would do would be attack and they would 'randomly' decide to target my party.  Now that I think about it, I should probably go into the codes and see if I can rewrite the Sleep+Unwaking Nightmare combo into an AoE Sleep+Horror combo.

Well blood magic draws from the life force, either of a victim or yourself. So it is not far fetched to assume she ages faster when wielding powerful blood magic.

Really? You didn't think he was trying to get at something perverted? Considering the title of this post has the words "Flemeth" and "sexy" in it...

dunno if anyone already mentioned it, but just in case, one of the devs said the art concept is a tad bit misleading and she'll be less, well, sexy ingame.

Sorry, just had to be tasteless and say it.

Yep, David Gaider said it. He also said if you looked closely at her face in the art you'd see it wasn't so young. He's probably right - I can't tell cos I'm too busy looking elsewhere...

I would advise you that in any dealings with Flemeth, be confident of nothing.
