David Gaider got so pissed about this suggestion he locked the topic it last appeared in. So I'm guessing nope, no matter how screwed up your Hawke is, incest is out of the question.

Given the fact that I feel this is a great idea for character development, there are some more details that surfaced after the Game Informer article. Not much, but, meh. Basically, she'll be crafted in the style of Baldur's Gate Imoen, serving as your concious (spelling?) i.e. your moral meter. It seems as if she'll sort of try to keep you on the "Hero's Path," and may even turn against you over time if you become an Anti-Hero. Though, given BioWare's history with "Moral" companions, family or otherwise, it's likely you'll be able to bring her to the Dark Side with you if that's on your agenda with a high persuasion, much as can be done with Leliana in DA:O with the Urn.

FYI, try to keep from indulging anyone that brings up repugnant ideas about the Sister character and relationships, the last thread that tried that got locked/deleted and I know at leat two folks that got the ban hammer for the conversations they had going. Needless to say, being able to have a sister cheering you on, or out to save the world from you, might be a pretty awesome idea. Still...nothing confirmed yet.

Do you have a link for that information?  The GI article did not mention Bethany at all, and the German web article only said that she would support Hawke with fire spells.  Was it a dev on the forum who said this?

Also, as someone else said on that thread, it's only a matter of time before some sick modder at DANexus corrects this. Like the Kaitlyn, Bella and Gheyna mods.
