Hawke was a soldier at Ostagar and got wounded and ended up in
Loethering. The templars tried to defend the place from Darkspawn but
failed and as the Darkspawn marched into the chantry to claim the life
of the Future Hero of Kirkwall, the roof was blown open and a Giant
creature flew in. It was a High-dragon. It bellowed furiously,
scattering the Darkspawn away, It caught Hawke in its talon, even as he
fainted from the agony of his wounds.. and carried him away into the
Korcari wilds......

Could this be possible?

EDIT: With the new information available through Greywardens.com it seems that Hawke was indeed at Ostagar...instead of being injured as previously described he was quite doing well when the Darkspawn attacked. AND he was indeed saved by none other than Flemeth!

What makes Hawke so special that Flemeth would save him?

Probably, but what about his sister? Did she fight at Ostagar to, I doubt it because most Mages don't know there families.

My favorite question.

What was special about PC that she saved him when She could have saved darkspawn-pwning-archie-ass-kicking-architect-for-dinner-hurlock-for-nightcap-High-dragon-for-breakfast Duncan?

I still think Hawke and his sister in the Korcari Wilds, Or in a village close to it, I mean you can hide an apostate in a small town, Lothering was a town which had a lot of Templars.
It could be there where other towns close to Ostagar where else did the refugee's come from?

You're right, but don't forget that Alitstair said Duncan was close to his Calling,Alistair said he would go to his Calling after the Blight so if Flemeth had other plans, she couldn't have brought them into motion.

She saved PC so morrigan could get the god baby. It wouldn't have worked with Duncan because he had been a GW too long.

I don't think Flemeth saved Hawke from Ostagar (if he was even there) I just think she appears later on in the story, and she will probably manipulate Hawke one way or the other to get what she wants.
And what she wants? I don't know maybe there is some powerfull magic arifect in the Free Marches.

Just to make this even more explicit: Flemeth saved you and Alistair because Morrigan specifically says she needs a Grey Warden "who has not been tainted for long" to do the Dark Ritual. And before that, she says this was always Flemeth's intention, asking "Did you not wonder why Flemeth saved your life". Of course, if you're a female Warden, the only reason she saves you must be because she figured Alistair might not manage it on his own ;) *cough* Darkspawn Chronicles *cough*

And it's certainly a good question wrt Bethany - she's a mage, and she wears mage robes. I can hardly imagine why she would be there if it wasn't for Ostagar. Perhaps she didn't know Hawke at all, or only when she was very young, and when she managed to escape from Ostagar she remembered she's supposed to still have a brother there? Which still wouldn't explain the Mage origin for Hawke unless he's also at Ostagar or an apostate... Hmm. Intriguing.

Yeah i'm confused over the whole Circle Mage or Apostate as well and how Bethany knows you are her brother if she is indeed a Circle Mage, But I am sure Bioware will find a way to explain is I mean they have David Gaider so...

well i would bet that bethany was at ostagar, and that she decided to play "dead" after ostagar. i could also imagine her or hawke being wounded, losing some time, then going back to the circle and find it ...well... not in the best condition.
