No but seriously you make a good point could of happened, But the one thing I want to know is what Flemeth wants with Hawke. Its not like she could get a god baby from him ... right?
Omg Flemeth god baby vs Morrigans!
Cool no?

Wtf does Flemeth care about his future for? she saved him for her own reasons I think. Besides we dont even know if Flemeth did save him yet. I think we are getting abit ahead of ourselfs.Ulicus wrote...

Of course she'd save him for her own reasons. That kind of goes without saying. The question is: why on earth would saving a "nobody" like Hawke be remotely important to her, and the most obvious answer is because she's aware of who he becomes and having an ally/tool of such importance would be very useful to her.UberDuber wrote...

Of course, I don't think the OP's right about the whole "Flemeth saves Hawke" thing (especially regarding the specifics)... but I wasn't responding to the OP.

I am not sure either. But think like this (pure speculation forthcoming):
You are a level one Rogue, Mage, Warrior in Loethering. An army of Darspawn that just defeated the Kings forces at the Disaster of Ostager is marching towards you. You don't escape them (Escape NOT just Survive) by making a speech to the local villagers, how important it is to remain courageous in this hour of out greatest need. You need supernatural assistance. And Flemeth is fortuitously close by. Occam's razor: Instead of calling upon some other great coincidental Deux Ex Machina, why not use Flemeth?
Its just possible if not the truth.
EDIT: Spell Error.

well im sure flemeth WILL be involved... following the GI article we meet her while shes killing darkspawn... propably she just wants to use us for her plans because were just there and we would be a better option then some refugee without any knowledge of fightening. theres not necessarily a plan like "ive forseen hawkes birth centuries ago blabla" but a "ahh i need someone to do this or that... lets see....YOU! whats your name....hawke huh??.. yeah itll do,"
And Hawke is so foreshadow name... The guy with name is sure to Kick some ass.... (If he is a male) and he has the Duncan beard! Ahhhhh.... She will perhaps take him to her hut I guess...

hawke defenitly sounds cool.... but i guess we cant know what flemeth plans are... are personally have my money on "erase the chantry".
I never thought that Flemeth was all "power over people" and with Dictatorial urges...
She wants power but not for control. She seems to want power for power's sake. She seems to entertain the thought that this is magnified by the idea of being left alone..
So all the Korcari wilds residency plan is simply a practice of principles....
But of coure I could be wrong.

Since we are playing during the blight, will we hear of our Warden's progress and the choice's we made in Origins?
Like i don't know, for example: Did you guys hear?! The Arl's son was killed by someone! (I killed Connor by the way).
Quite possible... I would love to have a news-paper equivalent Rumour engine in the game that tells you ambiguous happenings across Thedas..... It was implemented in the DA:O in form of Gossiping people and Bohdan.

Occam's razor back to you: Instead of someone rescuing Hawke, how about (s)he just packed his/her goods on a wagon and got out early?

Huh? It doesn't actually say that Hawke was at Ostagar. The only mention of Ostagar in the article is that the intro fills out the story there...sort of like Awakening's intro about the situation in the Coastlands, or Duncan telling the story of the Grey Wardens in the DA:O intro.
Exactly, also if Hawke was at Ostagar he probably fought, then how come he seems to be very healthy und fit just before he meets Flemeth.
Did Flemeth save him from certain death at the battle of Ostagar?
Rather unlikely, considering it looks like their confrontation after Lothering(?) seems to be the first time they meet.
Otherwise why wouldn't have Flemeth told him what she wants from him earlier if she saved him anyhow.
Hawke probably wasn't at Ostagar.
Looks like Flemeth turns out to be the deus ex machina that's there to explain every plothole.
Every time someone ''important'' is about to die Flemeth magically turns up and saves them.
What's next, resurrecting the Warden and letting him team up with Hawke to find Morrigan so that Bethany doesn't get possessed?

He also mentioned that Dragon Age: Origins only had a timeline of two years, while Dragon Age 2 spans 10 years, and that choosing the path BioWare did with DA2 has given them more ways in which to tell the epic story.
While I know its been said multiple times DA2 would span 10 years, it was nice to hear from one of the developers their opinion on how long Origins lasts. So, according to Chris, its two years. I guess that makes it span 9:30 - 9:31 DA (maybe even into 9:32 DA).
Also found this promising:
There is also likely to be a third full Dragon Age game — and Chris told me that they are not yet done with Morrigan’s story.
That pretty much answers that question...Morrigan and the God-baby won't be doing much until DA3. Oh well.
