Naelyn is definitely young, I'd say between 17-19.

Chelsea is around the ages of 19-20 years of age. Being the noble she is, she likes archery, and she also has a rogue persona, when it comes to personal preference. She trusts in her double blades for close combat fighting, and she loves reading, and nature. The unaimed arrow never misses.

Yup, I am aware. Looks can be deceiving.
Some people get wrinkles/signs of aging a lot earlier when they're stressed out a lot, which applies to my dwarf. As for the human, he's just one of those people who looks older than he is... Just like I'm apparently someone who looks a lot younger than they really are.

My first thought was past the century mark; assuming that dwarves live at least 250 years on avg (Dain Ironfoot was 250 when he fell fighting in Dale while the Fellowship did their thing in Gondor and Mordor), it struck me as entirely plausible that a father might have children when he was young so that they could fairly old when time came to begin to to groom them for the family business. Now, though, I'm not so sure. Early 50's perhaps?
Regardless, Bain is an old campaigner. He's spent more or less his entire life in the field against the Darkspawn, although he has been called upon to settle the occasional interhouse dispute. He was looking forward to retiring to more scholarly pursuits in a decade or so; maybe spending his savings on a library of military history or stick with the army and train recruits. A few years ago, though, he made the mistake of saving some bigwigs life, got noticed, got a series of fast promotions, and is now stuck with being prime candidate for succession. Needless to say, while he'd never take back saving a fellow soldier's life, he's not a happy camper.
