NO!

People are getting pretty sensitive over any suggestion of adding depth, uncertainty and difficult decisions to the romance lines.  Some people have already comment they wouldn't mind having Flemeth or a similar character as a romance option - my idea merely makes the story more interesting.

that NO! is not against difficult decisions but against incest...

in the end, that scenario makes it so hawke will be doing his/her sister...

if flemeth inhabits the body of another mage companion, then that's fine... though honestly... do you really believe that a centuries old, body napping, dragon-changing witch can fall in love with your character?

She probably use your character, maybe to find Morrigan.

I am *never* going to play another bioware romance again. Unless it has been *verified* as pathos free by someone I trust.

Good luck with that. ;)

I do however want a puppy. May I have a puppy? I mean, Mr. Gaider got his pony....

I got a faux pony. I am bitter.

If someone sent you a real stuffed pony to your office...would you feel better or worse?

I'm just hoping for party diversity...I also hope we continue to have party members that are in complete disagreement with each other, different views, etc........I also hope for a nice evil party companion who approves when you steal from and betray the other npcs............also would be neat if two companions were archenemies and u are forced at a point in the game to choose between one or the other because they no longer can work together and in the end one party

member has to leave.....

Also I want them to comment on how you handle situations kind of like Alistair does with the whole Redcliffe quest.

Viggo Mortensen, actually, play as Viggo Mortensen.
Not generic looking gap model who sound like Master Chief, very bad.

How about a mentally stable woman for a change?

Too much to ask, huh?

No one said you had to have sex with her - you can have a relationship, even romance, without sex.  And, no, I don't think Flemeth would fall in love with my character - I do, however, entirely believe that she would manipulate him - making him believe she loved him - in order to get what she wanted.

Because the men of Dragon Age are fine examples of mental health: an insecure, whiney bastard (literally), a mass murderer, an assassin who will backstab you on a whim and a misogynistic alcoholic.

I highly doubt that an ancient abomination, which is basically a demon, would fall in love with a mortal in any way, and what you are suggesting is romancing your sister, which David Gaider said would NEVER happen. So no incest or demon romance for you.

David Gaider said no incest would be allowed so no demon romances or incest for you.

@ elearon: The romance would never happen because, would you romance an old lady which turns into a dragon, in addition to a possessed old lady which means romancing a demon. In addition, what you are suggesting is romancing your sister which David Gaider said would NEVER happen, meaning no incest or demon romances for you. In addition, have you ever heard of a bioware romance without some sort of romance scene?

I have it on good authority that there will be a purple-clad hurlock mage companion named Keldor. He cackles madly and may or may not be the gay romance option.

I like the idea of Flemeth in the Kreia role. Also wouldnt mind a werewolf or desire demon as a companion, could be interesting. Having Zevron, Morrigan, or even Morrigan's lovechild in the game would be a good tie in. Of course considering the local, a Qunari should be there, male or female. Bethany should be one of the main characters. Besides them, a male mage that acted like a man, a female elf rouge, and maybe a male dwarf other than Oghren. Having a guest appearance of Leliana and the Warden traveling the countryside together would be nice.

The first game had interesting "normal" fighters, "normal" mages and "normal" rogues -they were interesting because of their personality and back story, not because they were cool races or hybrids. I'd like some more of that, and if possible very few weirdos like werewolves, demons, and all that jazz. An Ash Warrior could be interesting.

A flat chested, scraggly haired, tomboy rogue girl, full of pep and verve. Sassy talking, chance taking, not too wise but always eager for another adventure. The type to get both of you in trouble by sneaking off and stealing the silver while you're at the palace to talk to the king.

(I say "flat chested" because it seems all video game girls are large breasted, which objectifies them, and that gets old)

I hope for a female elf warrior with blond hair and rough attitude which will burn away to reveal a caring and nice woman when you get to know her better and is romanceable.

A female elf that, while being an incompetent party member, I can order around to shine my boots and other menial tasks. Like perhaps sending them to the market to find the best prices on potions and such while i sit on my ass and chat it up with that chick. And have her completely swoon over male PCs or be completely awestruck and idolizing of Female PCs (like what all those little girls do with Hanna Montana and Taylor Swift; but with less high pitched screaming). Than you can make us choose between being a complete bastard/**** when we have to choose between saving them and getting a totally Bad-Ass magic weapon.

There were no female-elf party members in DAO; and elves would be best suited for those menial tasks. Everyone wants a character that swoons over them and builds them up. Just don't make them have a really high pitched wine-y voice or anything; that just ruins a character.
