As for companions I want? Someone unpredictable. Whether that comes in the form of psychosis, or just a different way of viewing the world, like Sten 

I would like to see the aftermath of something like this when you "exorcise" Flemeth after doing all those things.

I'd also love to have some companion that is evil and not just a bit ****y/uncaring a la Morrigan. HK-47 is a lovely example of a not so kind character.

I would like to never see that ever. Like, ever.

The thing about true evil characters is that they don't make sense as people. Who's truly evil? Everyone has a reason--Morrigan's reason is survival. HK's is that is a robot.

If the game didn't just end immediately after that? (which is what I tend to expect in the way games are written)  I think it would make for some very bizarre and interesting rp.  Does your sister have memory of it?  Was she watching it happen as if she were in a gallery watching someone on stage or was she drug along despite what she wanted?  Or was she just vaguely (or possibly not) aware?  

Whatever the case she is a different person yet in the same body.  It would be awkward for a time - as you struggled with your recognition of who she is and your happiness at having your sister back vs seeing her every day and feeling the ache in your heart knowing you'll never hold the person who was there again.  And what would possible discussions about the issue be like?  

Dave is good, but could he even manage to write something like that effectively?  

It will never happen, but if it did it would be intense.

Other than that, I think it might be amusing to have an androgynous character whose gender is so ambiguous that you never really find out until the love scene. You make the character very interesting, and give it a personality that could conceivably appeal to either gender, then put them through the "could you romance this person without knowing?" question.

I want Neeshka from NWN2 - I've been playing the game again and really enjoy her character but wish I could have romanced her.

I'll settle for a cynical, bias, but overall ignorant Elven girl--preferably a Dalish Keeper or a Keeper's First--whose malcontent with humans simply stems from the hyperbolized stories she'd been fed by her Hahren. She actually has never had contact with a human. She'd be sort of like Velanna, without the overwhelming amounts of angst and creepy sister-love. Elf would be extremely unenlightened about the world, so mired in her hatred. But as time passes while she travels in the company of Hawke, she begins to realize everything isn't as she envisioned. From there, she becomes more open to talk to humans, to understand them and, if the opportunity was there, work to bridge the two cultures. I think it'd prove to be an interesting evolution in morality to watch unfold.

Or I'll take a Blood Mage who did hard-time in Aeonar (I think that's the mage-prison mentioned in the Magi origin) with MPD. Said mage would have to be a badass, and would have turned the Templars into their thralls, escaping in the chaos as the Templars ripped each other apart. Then they would have hid in the wild-lands, delving deeper in the Forbidden Arts until their mind was lost to demons. When you found them, they'd be far-gone and completely insane, talking in creepy little rhymes. There you'd be given the choice to spare (the pragmatic decision, if I do say so myself) or kill them.

For me .. I like the more older male role models, like Teagan or the Seneschal. So for my female character one of those. With a gravelly voice ... like Irving had. Who is tough definately, but in private setting is soft like a kitten.

Velanna's only racist when you first meet her, play your cards right and she'll warm right up to you, and make sure to spare the Architect that's a big one, or she will be forever PO'd

Nathaniel Howe.

If Dragon Age 2 is supposed to take place EVEN during Origins, Nathaniel is known to be in the Free Marches. Furthermore, he mentions Kirkwall in more than one occasion, especially that "all this traveling around reminds me of that year in Kirkwall"... Could be that he is a companion for one year throughout the storyline that takes in Kirkwall.
