The British Navy was badass, and thus the envy of the world, but I wouldn't compare the Qunari to them simply because both had powerful naval forces.kuroshimodo wrote...
I kinda was thinking about having a quanari companion who was apart of the navy. To me the quanari are coming out to be the British. They both were unheard of then suddenly here they come conquering every body with their damn navy. lol well my comparison maybe wrong but at the moment the quanari are sounding more like the British.

If there's going to be new party members, I'd rather them not be derivations of any of the previous ones.

But I would honestly rather Bioware not decide to put in characters from Origins/Awakening in DA2. So as for romance Swiftrunner! No actually I don't know...hmmm perhaps I will need to think and post later *starts sketching future lover*
Oh I also want a per dragon and i will name him Bahamut!

- A shaman-like figure who is wise and badass but turns out to be more fallible and less capable then he appears at first (think of Lost's Locke);
- A mature, forty-something, pragmatic, intelligent, charismatic female Elf warrior who isn't afraid to call BS on Hawke if he acts either too brutal or too sentimental;
- A young, sympathetic warrior capable of appalling bursts of violence when he loses his temper;
- A clever, murderous sociopath - someone that, for once, might actually be a bad idea to have in your party; he is an excellent rogue but might steal your money or even attempt to kill another party member;

What i mean is in origins basically all the woman were mages, and men were the warriors, all romance options were human besides Zevran, lets try and mix things up a bit:P

And even better... succeeds in killing another party member. That would be an amazing moment in the game to wake up and realise that one of your 'trusted companions' actually murdered your sister and stole all the camp belongings.

The only one I didn't really like was Velanna in Awakening. So I expect some nice surprises come March.

Why not? Let's say the guy is really good at what he does and gives access to some exclusive sidequests, so on one hand you'd want him in the party. On the other hand, he becomes more and more hostile towards another party member... their banters get unpleasant and then downright creepy. You suspect a certain quest or dialogue choice might trigger something nasty, sooner or later. So, you have to walk a tightrope between keeping an useful but dangerous companion and protecting someone else. What do you do? Keep him, trying to intimidate him? Kick him out? Kill him?

Rogues: Ranger, dark, brooding human or dwarf male, crossbow user. 'classic' rogue (no set spec, point is free to assign) that is quite greedy and materialistic but in a comical and harmless sort of way (Malik from Conan), human female, dual daggers.
Mages: Spirit Healer, blind, noticeably quiet and withdrawn, human/elven female, creation/spirit spells. 'classic' mage (no set spec, point is free to assign), straight-talking, no nonsense human male similar to Jaheira, elemental DPS spells.

I miss Jennifer Hale. At least have her do something for the sequel,(I don't think she was in origins). Hopefully as a companion but I'll take what I can get.
Good news: I don't know about DA2 but she'll be in The Old Republic.

I liked the characters in Awakening, so if we had a couple of them in there, I wouldn't mind. Maybe as romance options, too, though I'm not 100% with this.
My main request is for a beautiful female dwarf. Preferably a rogue if it's needed to maintain a more feminine image. Sigrun had a dynamite personality but her face tattoos were too garish. Otherwise I would have loved a romance option with her.
I willfully brag that my female rogue Aeducan was one of the hottest created characters I ever made, and one of the hottest dwarves I've seen, either on the forums or in the game. My point: I'm confident that Bioware can make a female Dwarf sexy
