The Archer would be a elven guy who is optimistic about himself but a bit of a pessimist regarding others even the Dual Wielder which I envision would be his best friend. The Dual Wielder on the other hand would be a mute elven woman and the only person who can understand her is the Archer. Romancing either of them would then draw the ire of the other unless they're friends with the player.
Another one is an immortal mage who seeks an end to his immortality and joins the players cause just for that. I want him to have an attractive enough look and personality that people would want to romance him but due to living for one too many years is unwilling to share the affection.
Lastly I want a surface dwarf who reads his fathers will wherein he is to "take what is rightfully his". This dwarf is no warrior but joins the player as an apprentice in hopes to one day fulfill his fathers last will.
Now I know my ideas are cheesy but I like it that way.

Or, you know, smoosh it all into one.
Is it a bad thing that I like romancing characters with issues? Ah well.

Not really. If you're a badass who becomes the most famous man in the world who has the ability to bring the whole world to the brink of war, I'm sure you should be able to romance a lot more than just a fewHey Guy wrote...But I like the idea of having some characters, straight or otherwise, unable to be romanced. It's bit more realistic, dontcha think?
I can't wait to see what the devs have cooking.

SHUT UP WOMAN Get on my Hawke
Look at my Hawke; my Hawke is amazing,
Give him a lick.
Mmmm he tastes just like raging!
With a stroke of his sword,
He won't let you get gored,
And if you romance, you can tug on his winky.
Oooh that's dirty!
Do you think so?
Well I better not show you where the lyrium is made -
Sweet lyrium, mmmm sweet lyrium,
Sweet lyrium, yeah sweet lyrium.
Get on my Hawke, I'll take you round the Anderfels,
And all the other places, too.
I think you will find that the Anderfels are where the Wardens are.
Shut up woman, get on my Hawke.

Isabella or Jowin
Jowan isn't killed by the circle. You find him in Redcliffe imprisoned and you have the option of letting him go and he plays an important role in that quest to help the demon possessed child. As for Isabella, she travels alot yes, but so does your character. So that could be a reason as to why she would join your party. And I'm sure they could think of many other reasons why she would join if she does end up in Dragon Age 2.

When Jowan escapes, the templars want to put him to death. When he is in redcliffe, you can give him up to the circle, where the templars will execute him. Use your deduction!!!

If you have Jowan handed over to the Cricle, and you speak to Irminric the crazy Templar in Howe's dungeon, he mentions escorting a Blood mage from Redcliffe and certain details that to me implies that the mage may have been Jowan. I really don't know if it was Jowan, but I don't think it's such a stretch to say that he may have lived. Something could have happened to him between Redcliffe and his one way ticket to executionville.

Unless you free him right when you meet him in the dungeons, he is executed by the redcliffe arl or the Circle. If you let him escape, there's a possibility you will see him again, though I never have, and thus I assume him dead in my game. Anyways, it is probably safe to say Jowan will eventually be killed or captured while trying to rescue Lily from AeonarTrueUSPatriot wrote...

No, Irminric is the Templar that captured Jowan, intending to bring him to the circle for execution. Loghain stops the templar and employs Jowan as his assassin, which goes wrong and nearly destroys all of Redcliffe.Ardinal wrote...

How about the main character from Origins or awakening joining you as a companion in some part of the campaign. I think that would be fun
Also, sexy elf who doesn't look horribly underfed.

And seeing as most of my Wardens helped the architect, I hope we see some more Awakened darkspawn. Maybe that will show all those people who hate the architect the benefits of siding with him.:innocent:

I suggest a pride demon.
could we get back the voice actor for uldred please??
He also did an outstanding job voicing Vamp in MGS.But anyway,a demon could be fairly interesting,at least as a character by it's on right. He could offer you power for power sake trought the course of game, provided you do what he wants. That would be great!
