I'll be happy if Aveline sticks around as a companion/LI. Would be like a slightly edgier version of the Jaheira romance, but not involving an elven divine magic user.

I'd love to see a Grey Warden companion- maybe one from the Anderfels thats been sent down to investigate the aftermath of the Blight. Might be kind of neat to hear a more "official" Warden talk about your Warden from Origins and maybe the "official" view on things- especially if the Warden survived via the DR....

There are some pretty strange romance requests int his post - romanceable Broodmother anyone?



Someone mentioned it before, BW make some pretty great characters and I am sure there will be some fantastic new characters in DA2 - that said I like being surprised with my characters. I don't really think I want another (insert character name here) from (insert game name here).



It's pretty annoying when you meet someone and then you go , ah this is the badass of the group, this is the shy sensitive one who needs me to compliment her - or this is the strong silent type who has had a traumatic childhood. I like to be surprised - in total contradiction of my previous statement 2 characters stand out to me - Atton and Kreia from KOTOR2. Both characters surprised me (Atton with the restoration of old content) and I think that is why I really enjoyed them.

Atton seeming like a good old fashioned Han Solo kinda guy and if you influence him to the darkside you actually find out some pretty dark things from him - (Sorry, I wont give spoilers).



I like it when party members don't get a long and you are forced to play off between them - I like the situation where characters draw you into an arguement and you have to support one or annoy both. I hate that you can make everyone like you, even though all characters have very different points of view. Real groups have tensions and strains and I would love to feel involved in that.



I like little moments where characters acknowledge me rather than being all about them all the time, like when Morrigan gives you a ring - I thought this is quite nice - although pragmatic as it was I would love to see more of this kind of thing. A companion coming to sit next to you by the fire and asks why you are so sad or someone who you dont take in your party often approaches you and asks why you don't like them.



I remember the Isolde situation with the great acting in relation to the character conner - can you imagine something like that with one of the party members? I trully heartbreaking scene where they are desperate to change your viewpoint/decision? I changed my mind in the end on that one only because the acting and dialogue was so strong.



Romanceable options - I think once you have bedded them the conversations seems to dry up - I would like them to be more interested in you from that point, maybe more jealous of your interactions with the others. Maybe some specific cut scenes when the main character is trully in danger. I dont really care about races or broodmothers/vampires or pigs or anything lihe that. Maybe 1 bi-sexual for a woman or guy would be nice.



Maybe the party members have thier own romances if I don't follow up quickly, maybe I can sabotage them, create grudges, cheating. Playing characters off against each other maybe they could even do it to me. Those would be really interesting psychological issues. They announced that you can get negative approval which causes characters to react negatively to you and try to show you up and contradict you - that will be great.

To have such deep interactions between characters yet still have everything else in the game is a long way down the line. One day hopefully we will have a epic RPG which combines the elements of talking and psychological issues and manipulation with the intense combat and tactics. But i fear this will be way down the line.

I'm quite sure I did, he and his pet Inferno Golem fell before the might of my Warden. A new disciple that we have not yet met would be great for DA2, or the return of the Messenger would be awesome since he's now trying to be the Batman of Thedas, or ahem... the Garrus Vakarian of Thedas.

It would be interesting to have the Disciple from the end of Awakening that warned the Warden about the attack on Vigil's Keep as a companion, since it seems like he became independent and aided people in the epilogue.
