I want a lyrium addicted Templar as a companion. One that will do anything as long as I provide him/her with the lyrium. The Templar will deny this addiction all along and make some really bad excuses why the lyrium is needed.

ser pounce alot !(the cat from Awakening, same powers) must have or a parrot
a new species or new race. shy but in combat is can not keep qiet, high damage with ranged weapons and provides a combat bonus to allies and drives weak willed enemies INSANE.
a better tank character basically look at the guy and you think walking tank and enemies are actually terrified of the guy when you first meet up with the guy and in certain speech check opportunities.
torchered as a child hates everything, loves chocolate or any thing sweet
A mage who doesn't know they are a mage (nor does the chantry) only find out about it through some tragic event,
with the main character. like come across evil guys murdering a village that is helping orphans and looks like a really nice place.
have a character that is present from child hood till close to the end where you find out its actually a Demon or some thing like that. that's one desire is to feed off you and grows stronger over time with you.
when you find out what it is you can chose to either "fuse" it to you / or kil it.
killing it increase your health 50% and damage resistance by 35%.
"Fusing" it to yourself gives you a penelty to max health and an increase to certain stats and a bonus of dealing spirit damage with any attack. how much is dependent on how high your defense is + half of your armour level.

i think a werewolf would be good as i don't suppose that there are going to be any vampires...though if there are vampires they should be very embittered possibly striking up a romance with flemeth if she is a companion or someone like her

Otherwise, someone like Anders for comic relief and overall silliness or a Flemeth like character with his/her own motives and underlying evil. I mean the hate I felt for Morrigan towards the end was more than any other emotions throughout the game combined.
Would also be nice with a companion that is as strong as the PC and be some type of rival to him/her, kinda like Sten was but even more than that, trying to take command of missions and whatnot. So there's an almost constant power struggle within your party.

- An older, slightly mad, short (dwarf-height) human mage who constantly talks to himself a lot. Gets easily irritated, at least until he gets to know you better. He lives in an old, abondoned tower, away from the Chantry's influence and is thus branded an apostate. He is an expert in the dark arts of magic such as blood magic and necromancy. Bears an extreme hatred for the Chantry, the templars, and anyone who is Chantry-friendly.
When he was younger and still a member of the Circle he had a relationship with a templar woman which resulted in a child. Knowing that the Chantry will take his baby daughter away, he stole her and fought his way from the Circle. He settled in a ruined tower and raised the child with love and care.
Years had passed and they continued to live happily, sometimes venturing into nearby towns. One day, his daughter, now a young woman was out in a town by herself and happen to run into templars who were patrolling the area. They recognized her as an apostate, and when she tried to run, they killed her.
When the old man discovered this, he went nearly mad and began dabbling in blood magic and necromancy to find a way to revive his beloved child. Plus, to add an insult to injury, the templar who had slain his daughter happened to be the girl's mother (But he doesn't know that. Not yet).
Damn, I think I put way to much info... Still, If anyone would actually care to read it, I would appreciate feedback.

- An Alistair/Anders/Atton like character for a romance definitely. Witty, cute, and not afraid to go against you to stand up for themselves. Charming fangirl appeasers. :]
- NO MORE Carth/Kaiden/Jacob/Bao-hurdur. Goodie ZOMG DON'T KILL BABIES personalitylessss.-
- Another Handmaiden/Visas/Thane would be appreciated.
- A shale/HK/legion. Robotic and somewhat lacking emotion/human logic.
- A morrigan/Jack. A total ****.
I would prefer as much humor as possible in all characters.
Obviously judging by the fact that there is pretty much a character from each game Bioware has got the companions covered.

I also wouldn't mind a bubbly, happy, old dwarven scholar trained as a rogue voiced by Eric Idle!
