My brother is learning many game themes on the piano, and I'm dying for him to learn the music that first comes up when you turn on Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn. I'm sure everyone here knows it, but just in case I'm wrongggg, www.youtube.com/watch <- there's the music I'm concerned with.
In order for him to learn it, he's requested either a video of someone's hands playing it, or the sheet music plain. The sheet music will take a lot longer for him, but it can be done.
I've been looking on the internet for any sign of ANY piano arrangements, and it doesn't seem like anyone actually has them. I tried to 'contact' Bioware, but it only led me here, so here I am! If anyone could help at all, I would be very grateful. Thank you ahead of time!
Game Music... Sheet Music?

There's only city music.
Long time ago I saw also Planescape: Torment main theme sheet, not sure if it can be found anymore :/

Thank you so much.
It's more than I was ever able to find!
I'll have to see if I can ask her directly if she could do the opening theme.

If you do find any sheet music, or more piano videos, I would also be ecstatic!
I can't read notes... but if I know which keys to hit, I can play

It's not that hard to read the notes... There are some things you need to remember, but reading notes is quite easy after you know what you're reading

I just spend so long transcribing them, and getting confused... I can't work out timings either... so when I'm shown music I find it easier... One day I would like to be able to read notes better... but I think I'd need to really devote some time XD
I normally try harder when it's something I'm passionate about... so we'll see if we can find some BG music! Hehe!!!

I did a little bit of googling and found this
http://www.bioware.c...e_info/contact/
This is from the old forums, so the email maybe be changed now. If you, however, scroll down a little bit, you'll see Bioware's mailing adress.
Alternatively, you can try to email Chris Priestly or Victor Wachter about this.
On the other hand, I think ATARI now has the rights to the BG games? so maybe you could try your luck there...

The DA:O soundtrack is okay. The BG2 soundtrack is awesome.
It's interesting you should mention that particular theme as it's one I covered on guitar a long while ago. It's a metal version, with a random solo-y bit added in the middle, but the bit at the end is a lot more true to the original, and I'm quite pleased how that bit turned out (the rest, not so much... I could do a lot better now I think...).

I believe I have a guitar pro file for it somewhere, and could make a pdf from that if you wish.
