Chances are I am behind some of you here but I though I might share this.

A thread that comes up quite often is creating bushes in the toolset. A favorite for this is shrunk and sunk trees, which can look cool but also takes time and does not work well for all trees..

I have just discovered the king boxwood (clearly it was there all the time but I took a while to get to it). It is great for this purpose. I have seen the basic boxwood used a LOT in mods and it can look a bit lazy. Especially as one seed is much like another.

Because ithe king boxwood foliage is high and it has branches beneath it gives a much better effect than its less royal re;ative for only a little more work.

For instance; in the toolset, using seed #1 with the unmodified Royal Box plant on the left at scale = 2 and the sunk version with a little work on the left.

King Boxwood all alone

I have used this and the basic boxwood to give a thicket woodland, and it come out like this.

King Boxwood in situ

Works okay for me Posted Image hope this helps you.

Cheers,

PJ
