No, not NWN2. When Baldurs Gate first came out they were closely followed by the Microsoft GameVoice headset, which I purchased at the time. They've stood me in good stead for nigh on 20 years or so.
Finally, at long last, one of the earpieces came loose and is now hanging by a wire. Amazingly I can still use them. How's that for robustness? They just don't make computer equipment like this any more.
So it's goodbye to an old and faithful friend, who for 20 years has served me well, even when using them for the Telly. 'Tis with much sadness and disdain that I now must confine them to the dustbin, to replace them with something new. It's like losing an old and trusted companion who you've been with through thick and thin over many years. Many a battle have we fought together, killing goblins and orcs. Many a long road have we travelled together over many quests. Many a foe has fallen before our trusty sword.
Rest in peace, dear GameVoice, you will not easily be forgotten.
I've now replaced them with a pair of Logitech G35 Headset 7.1 Surround Sound. Phwoar! Imagine listening to NWN2 with 7.1 positional audio.
The demise of an old, old friend...

I know what you mean... I had a keyboard that outlasted three computers once.
Clunky as all heck but more durable than this new one I've got.

I HAD ONE OF THOSE TOO! I never used it as much as I could never quite figure out a good way to include use it after I moved to a 5.1 output. I may even still have it in almost new condition.

Baldur's Gate came out 20 years ago?
I once had a Microsoft thumb-oriented trackball mouse, with four buttons apart from the wheel making it exceedingly easy to go back and forth between web pages, but then it died, and I couldn't find another once because they had been discontinued. My new Logitech trackball only has the standard two mouse buttons, which makes me sad.
