 I have finished Dragon Age Origins and played all the walkthroughs, so i thought "I'm gonna choose the most torturing option I can" and so, I set it to Nightmare mode and:
Told Morrigan to take a hike
Killed Zevran when I first met him
Killed Leliana in the Urn of Ashes
Got Alistair Executed
Got Loghain Executed
Left Sten in the cage
Kill Wynne at first sight
Never went to Shale
Got rid of the dog

Now, I stand at the Archdemon - alone. I regret nothing but like, does this get me anything?
(BTW I killed the elves and mages)

P.S Oghren is taking the hike with Morrigan.

You...got rid of Dog? I didn't know that was even possible. He loves you 100% no matter what. Man, you must play pretty much the opposite game I do.... Well, not quite. I get Loghain executed, too.

I've never tried it, but I know there's an option when you get the random event to add Dog to your party (for everyone other than human nobles) that is something to the effect of "I don't like dogs." Maybe that prevents Dog from being added. Once he's in your party, I can't find a single method at camp to turn him away.

How do you kill the mages?

Dog is possible to get rid off during the Ostagar quest you can kill him and I think after Ostagar when you meet him you can send him away

Easy: don't use the Litany of Adralla during the fight with Uldred. There will be no mages left after the fight is over. If you have Wynne in your party, though, don't let her know that. If she thinks you're going to let the Circle die, she will turn on you. Lie through your teeth if you want to keep her, then just fail to use the Litany during the fight.

I prefer to just agree with Morrigan when she calls them "pathetic excuses for mages". Then you can just chop off Wynne's head right away before she even has a chance to complain about you getting a little action on the side

Sorry for asking what is probably an obvious question, but... How do you get Alistair executed?

Siding with Loghain and telling/agreeing with Anora when she says to execute Alistair

Or you get Alistair to kill Loghain, then choose Anora as queen. Her first act as queen will be to execute the man who killed her father.

I wish you got as much experience for knifing the dog as curing him. That's really my main incentive for keeping him alive as I almost never use him. IMO it's more fun to get the characters then kill them when they betray you - leliana @ ashes, zevran in denerim, shale at the anvil
