Like a detailed log of every roll and damage. And detailed stat and skill info.
DAO does poorly in giving info to the player. The story is great, but they neglect other things.

Two things i miss very much in Dragon Age that Drakensang had are: My character would speak most of the dialogue. I feel like a Deaf-Mute standing there while everyone is speaking in DA. Secondly,I miss a graphically beautiful world to play in.
Drakensang was a good game but the combat didnt do it for me,the mage class seemed a total waste as every enemy made a be line for them and the spells felt underpowered to me,great graphics and loved the dwarf forgrim

It's funny really. I own and have Drakensang installed but have never actually played it. I couldn't really get a feel for it. Perhaps I just wasn't in an RPG mood when I tried. Is it a good game? In depth story, character development and companions? All the stuff we love?

Drakensang had nothing to do with DnD or any of the Infinity Engine games. Nor anything to do with Bioware. So it's not that odd you didn't like it.
Still, they knew most players like to know things besides the story, like what hit me, or what exactly does this spell I have. Or why didn't I resist this or why am I hitting for so few on this boss.
In DAO, all this info is hidden, and that not only sucks, but it makes the game have much less replayability. The good thing about DAO is the story, but that keeps you entertained only for as long as it is new. While character development and such with good info can make you restart the game dozens of time.

I far preferred the predecessor Arkania stuff. Star Trail, now there was a hardcore RPG.

That said, there were many things I loved about Drakensang. The earlier Dark Eye computer games were my first ever CRPGs - any other Northlands Trilogy fans out there?

I clearly prefer Dragon Age Origins and both Neverwinter Nights over Drakensang.

Drankensang or watching paint dry? Watching paint dry definitely.

Only less graphically painful. They are making a sequel, so keep an eye out for
it. Also: Risen. Kinda broken like every Gothic title but hella fun and challenging.

Tried to get into it but just couldn't seem to find the "immersion".
Played it after work for several weeks and it just didn't do it for me.

@OP: I would rather have the entire game completely mute than have the AWFUL voice-acting and dialogue that Drakensang had, uggh.
