Punching scientists
Punching reporters.
Pushing people out of windows.
Destroying priceless art.
Did I mention punching reporters?
Except killing Samara, even I felt bad about that when doing a pure Renegade play-thru.

You can be a paragon and still shoot someone between the eyes, just have to have the right reason

Ah, some of them are nice. My favorites are the Yelling at the Citadel Officer, not killing David (older brothers name, I think?) in Overlord, and and of course helping Tali through her hard timesSimpfan wrote...
The paragon interruptions are like what? Giving Tali a hug?

Giving Tali a hug isn't bad either...except with the whole " I might die if we have sex" thing but other than that it's quite comforting.
Death, rashes and being poisoned.
Dating aliens is dangerous.

Although playing renegade makes my shep feel like a Sith, she really liked those old SW moviesNICKjnp wrote...

Paragon = Pistol whipping Archer, punching Zaeed
Renegade = "You're working too hard", everything else

WOOT WOOT!!! I should have made a forum a long time ago. It's fun reading what everyone has to say, and so far no hate on my forum, lets keep it like that.
Wait for the trolls to come from the dark parts of the web though.

If you want to run an experiment, try posting this exact same topic to the Mass Effect 2 Campaign and Storyline forum. I bet you anything you will find the posters who get a bit abusive in their posting.Joshua N7 wrote...
Eh, just let them talk. Opinions are important in my book, and well I love to listen...or read, eh you know what I mean. But still their always there...hiding...waiting to strike...<_<...

Sure you can do a couple evil things being pure renegade. Then again you can do some stupidly naive things being pure paragon. I used to play bioware games exclusively goody toe shoes, even ME1. I don't what happened, but playing ME2 on my second playthough, I thought screw it let me try being a renegade. I restarted ME1, played generally renegade. Helped the poor and defenseless, but showed no mercy to criminals or potential threats. I ended up loving the character so much, it became my new cannon, and did the ME2 playthough the same way. A lot of the Renegade dialogue choices seem brutal and mean with the half sentence hint when you chose it, but it comes out pragmatic, even practical and a lot of times really funny. The renegade shep is a great and very interesting character.

I love playing a Paragade since it lets me be a hero, but one who can be a BAMF without going borderline brutal.

While I generally like to play Paragon, the renegade interupts make sense in 90% of situation really (..poor mouse).

For me, I realized being hero makes you feel good if you project yourself in that character, but being the renegade allows you to play the anti-hero. A flawed hero makes for a much more interesting story.

Although its wierd how you beat on him and then can charm him out of his secrets. You can avoid gaining renegade points by not hitting him, and when his lawyer barges in you can say "im a spectere sucka!" which means he has to talk. There is no paragon level to this check.,
