Mark Meer reminds me far too much of a number of fraternity twits that I interacted with at my college campus. Thus, if they do this, they need to promise beer pong and undie runs. Otherwise, the voice will feel out of place.

Well, he's certainly capable of different voices (like Tug in Leliana's Song) - but, please, not his Shepard voice.

Wouldn't make much sense considering he's already the VA for another protagonist. And it's weird to listen to him doing serious stuff considering I was a fan of his improve before he did Shepards voice. Hopefully since ME3 is meant to be more "lighthearted" than the previous games he'll get some jokes in. He's pretty funny.

Meer was ok for Shepard but I don't think BioWare is that unimaginative that they'd have one guy be the voice of the PC in both of their big franchises. They've already got their Hawkes cast, so we'll just have to wait and see who they are...

I actually think he's a very good VO . I have no problem with him. But he's Mass effect main VO .. 1 ip it's enough . Especialy Bioware stuff.

Surprised, considering that Mark Meer isn't English. Hawke is from Ferelden, thus English voice.
As for Meer's voice acting skills, never had a problem with them. So someone of similar quality would infact not bother me.

Well, I know nothing about the guy, but given that many of us are already pretty darn upset by changes that would seem to bring DA closer to ME, he would be just about the worst possible choice. It was mentioned that he did Tug in Leliana's song, and that was very good, but it would be a PR disaster. I think they'd be smart to look for an actor (probably British, given that Hawke is probably Ferelden) who is both skilled and capable of projecting a very likable persona. The knives are already out since many of us resent the addition of a voice-acted protagonist.

I was not a fan of Mark Meer's voiceover work in ME. I'm a girl so I normally play female characters, but I wanted to try out maleShep at least once and I was unable to do that because of how much I disliked Meer's voice acting. Sorry, I'm not tying to be disrespectful, only saying that I did not like his voice acting at all.
On the other hand I have played plenty of other games where there was a voiced male protagonist, and I have never really had an issue with any of them, until ME.
