I realise some people who bought the PS3 version have golden copies and no framerate/stuttering issues, but for the most part, DA:O on the PS3 is garbage. I had it, and I traded it. I got pretty far, because the story pulls you in, but the gameplay is just awful due to skipping/audio glitching/horrid framerate. Even though the PS3 version has slightly better textures, no way in hell is it worth playing over the 360. I've put 5 hours into the 360 version so far and have had ZERO problems. Framerate is good, not one stutter, not one, and I've had tons of spells going on the screen. Load times are a godsend, even when you talk to people or skip their conversation, no waiting. I'm not trying to rub it in anyones face. I'm simply saying if you have a 360, get that version! I had the PS3 version for a long while and just couldn't take it anymore.
I must say, if you have a 360, get that version.

360 don't get, why? Because it's a load of garbage when they don't patch the damn game and when they do it's miniscule at best.

There's limitations to what can and can't be patched on the 360 (and PS3), and it's not BioWare's fault. It's Sony and Microsoft's fault for exercising such tight control over their consoles. IIRC, each patch has a size limit of 4 MB.
But in essence I agree that the PS3 and 360 are not optimal machines to play DA:O on. It wasn't even originally intended to be played on consoles. It was intended as a PC game, and thus the PC offers the best Dragon Age experience.

Em, problem is 360 version looks like ****. I mean PS3 version is not an eye candy, but 360 is just garbage in visual department. As for issues, no golden copies. Similar issues reported on both 360 and PS3.

A lot of the reported issues span across both platforms

I must be missing something here. I have had zero trophy issues with my PS3 version... zero freezes...the framerate stutter i find to be barely an issue....and i have played through the game more then a handful of times.
There are maybe 2 quests that i have seen issues with(both of them being quests that get finished, yet the chanter's turn in and the stolen tome dwarf in the shaperate ((forget his name off the bat)) still have the arrows over them saying a quest needs to be turned in after i have done them all).
The screens i have seen showing the PS3/360 version make me feel like the PS3 version does look a mite better then the 360 version.
I don't have a problem with you being a 360 fanboy or tossing your opinion here, but i'll happily keep my PS3 version.
BTW, i do have all the DLC but Awakening (which i received today) so i can't attest to all the DA:O material. I'm going to wait for the PS3 patch to finish my latest Warden then move on to Awakening.
P.S.: I deleted a bunch of characters, so if you check and say I'm full of BS that's why.

I don't have any issues with anyone thinking one version of a game is better then another. I also don't have any issues letting him/her know i don't agree with their opinion.
The term troll is really thrown around way too loosely nowadays anyway, considering that everyone's opinion of what a troll is may not necessarily be the same.
The usual way to deal with topics like this if you feel the individual is "trolling" is to ignore it. Even by your post you really are still feeding him by encouraging to respond to your commentary, which would most likely be in a more negative view then mine since you were indirectly bashing his topic by asking me not to post.
Now if his topic had started out like this.....
Teh PS3 version is teh suck

you are right I should have just ignored it, too much time spent on other boards were fanboyism gets out of hand quickly.
and btw I enjoyed Awakening, until how it ended. I just wanted more. have fun with it.

I personally prefer the PS3. I hate XBox 360 controllers, really can't get use them and the PC users have an issue with the game crashing and no true controller support.
I have been using PS style controller since PS1, why swap it for something else. In fact the PS controller design has been copied by many other hardware makers for the PC and PS3.
The only good thing with the XBox and PC is that it takes developers longer to get patches on the PS3 and the ceritifcation process is also longer. But I guess all of that provides the gamers a slightly better experience. AKA less game freezing and I have pushed both of my PS3 for hours. 12+ hours at a time with no freeze what so ever. Well, other than what others were experiencing after sony did an update to their firmware and Bioware fixed that in reasonable time.
