You had literally no indication that you would be able to. Also, no one cares. Why are you telling us?
right, this thread is full with 6 pages of "no one cares"

For the sole reason of not being able to continue my character and decisions from DA:O . It seems to me you just wanted to make sure the first Dragon Age game is successful , then mainstream as much as possible to
increase sales , disregarding that the game will be subpar as value and many
that will buy it just because they loved DA:O , will be unhappy .
I for one got attached to my character, the decisions I made, the relationship with Morrigan and so forth. <3
Why would I buy a game, where I play a “nobody” , literally 0 attachment to the main character, that nonetheless is shoved down my throat like on Mass Effect , can’t change race , gender etc … only some minor insignificant things like hair color .
Bioware will be off my game buying list, because it turned away from game quality towards selling mainstreamed games .
p.s. Even the forum is broken, could not log in my account so had to make a new one to post. <_<
well if you didn¨t buy the first one I doubt you ever will the second one you thief

That isnt hearsay or going on "no information".
Thats stuff that has been confirmed by Bioware, and a lot of people will not buy based off what THEY said.

Loved it.
You know, blind faith can be a good thing sometimes. If you are the believing sort.
I'm definately getting the sequel. I've got no reason to doubt that it would be a bad game. It may be different but that doesn't necessarily equate to bad.

I bought DA:O because I liked the box art. Something llike 2 days after it was out. Yep. Didn't know anything about it, didn't see any advertisements, didn't see the online trailers or know anything at all about *any* bioware games - DA:O being my first.
It has to be awesome to be rich

Hawke doesn´t need Background. The less he / she has, the more freedom you have in roleplaying him.
Bioware vastly prefers making you play their writers' character rather than your own.
Have you played any other game, ever?

you bought something without knowing what is in it, who made it, and didn't bother about its cost neither, just because you liked the box art
can I please draw you a cute bunny then you buy it for 200 bucks? I need to think about how to pay my taxes, pay for internet, and still have enough cash for food and public transportation

Well it looked like a cool game. Sure flipping it over on the backside and reading that tiny "about this game" paragraph helped but you can't really sum up a game like DA:O in that tiny little space. I've played games that were well known, reviewed with high marks, from a company that I knew and liked and they still sucked imo - FFX anyone? Sometimes it better to go with your gut than listening to everyone else's opinion.joriandrake wrote...
