I have 640 bioware points burning a hole in my virtual wallet so I figured I should spend them on Dragon Age DLC. Problem is, I have no idea in the slightest what to get. Can anyone make a recommendation?

My first suggestion would be for Warden's Keep. The party storage chest is extremely valuable, not only as a storage location, but you can also use it (and the merchants there) to upgrade your stuff to a higher tier (if it has the potential to be upgraded, and it bases this on your Warden's level). The extra abilities you can get in the DLC (I won't spoil how you get them) can be pretty cool too, especially for rogues and mages. I haven't tried a warrior with those abilities yet, but I assume they're helpful too.

The Stone Prisoner adds a NPC complete w/dialogue and items for the entire game. Warden's Keep adds great items, and a party chest. Return to Ostagar adds even more items, and offers some resolution to the prior events there.

All three were worth the investment.

Me personally i liked return to ostagar more because of the items that drop and they are also transeferable to awakening. But wardens keep is nice as well. if you dont have awakeing i would just get wardens keep over return to ostasgar

Although Stone Prisoner is a great DLC, I think the cost is 1200 MSP/BWP; unless the OP wants to add more points, his choices are limited to Return to Ostagar (haven't played it, but heard it was good), Darkspawn Chronicles (from what I've heard, the worst of them all), Warden's Keep (very worthwhile), and Leliana's Song (most of what I've heard of are good).

Not to mention the fact that I've already got the Stone Prisoner (as does everyone who bought a new copy).

have they solved the problem with the warden keep gear and skill and the import of the char in DA:Awakening? if not and if you are intended to play even DA:A remember that all item and all skill from that DLC don't work and if you load your char with the warden plate on you will find him naked..

Warden's Keep for sure; although, if you want the best armor ever, get Return to Ostagar...

My vote is for Warden's keep if you can only get one, just for Starfang alone.

I'll be downloading the rest of the DLC as well as Awakening sometime next week. Don't forget, you can get the lucky ring (+1 all attributes) for free if you create and upload a character using the Bioware character creator.

A friend of mine got me some extra points, causing me to only leave Darkspawn Chronicles and the Feastday pranks/gifts packs unbought. Should I get either one of them?

Although it's fun to kill your entire party sometimes, Darkspawn Chronicles is kinda boring. Completely separate from the regular game, virtually no equipment for your character to upgrade with, extremely linear plot, and unless you're going for the achievement/trophy of keeping the initial ogre alive (which I hear is bugged), it shouldn't take you long to complete anyway. The overall opinion I've heard from players and reviewers is that it's not worth it. (unless you're an achievement ****, then 400pts for 3 achievements compared to the other DLCs is one of the few advantages of the content)
As for the feastday pranks/gifts, not worth it. I think that was one of the measures to fix bugs in Leliana's relationship (if you bumped it up too high and didn't ask about orlesian bards being spies early enough), but other than that, there's pretty much no use for it.

Avoid Darkspawn Chronicles like the plague. I bought that piece of junk game, and I regret buying it. Also, the sword you get sucks.

Why? Other than the venom bug... it's stats are somewhat similar to Veshaile.

Get Leliana's Song, if you can afford it.  This DLC is better than either DC or Feastday.  Posted Image

Well, if you have extra points, I'd personally get Overlord for ME2 rather than Darkspawn Chronicles. DC is okay, but I have no desire to play it again (too depressing).

Darkspawn Chronicles is somewhat cathartic, allowing you to kill your party members. However, it's rather short, and you can't rely on your 'party'; if a member dies, they're gone, and you have to replace them with whatever Darkspawn happen to be at hand. As for the Longsword you get from it, it's very nice to walk out of Lothering wielding a Dragonbone Longsword, but it's stats are not particularly impressive. Final verdict? Go ahead and pass.

The Feastday Gifts and Pranks are somewhat interesting, I suppose. Their biggest appeal is the fact that each Gift bumps approval by 50 points, so you can start running around with party members who have their 'Inspired: Massive [Stat]' skills as early as possible. There's also some amusement involved (the Pranks allow you to give Zevran a Chastity Belt, in exchange for a whopping -50 Approval). Overall, though, I'd pass on this as well.
