Hi Guys,

I had a fight in the cirle tower (broken circle quest) where i entered a room with a broken statue (i think it was a library) and this circle of blue flame and a big bad guy (whos name ive forgotten!) came out when i picked something up.

Was easily the toughest fight ive had and literally he only seemed to take spirit and physical damage, all other damage he was immune to. I went through my entire supply of healthand mana items plus had two mages who could heal in my party!

Do you guys know where i mean? And should i have got anything for beating him? Theres no way he was a normal enemy!

revenant.. u will see them some more later on in the game.

always when u disturb a ancient thing or pick something up like a glass vial in this case.



there very hard mobs... with cleave kinda attack and a pull ability which makes kiting harder



keep dps at range.. and try to solo heal ur tank...



if ur tank is eead.. its very fast over since he is resited to almost all cc abilities.

The best thing to do is wait a few levels.



Hex + Paralysis + Spirit Prision + Stone Fist + Cone of Cold + Lightning + Overwhelm + Double Strike + Might Blow + Blizzard + Sleep.



You get the idea.

Extremely tough fight for me too.. I just finished it and was pretty proud of myself. It looks like it's part of a mini side quest called the black vials. the book says that there are six to find in the world. I'm assuming if you find all six you get an xp bonus or something.. but there's really no knowing since the book doesn't say and you can't see xp gained from finishing side quests.

Yes, there are 6 of them, but I sadly I don't remember anything special happening when you beat them all. The Revenant in the Circle tower was also my first, which isn't much of a big deal, considering you have Wynne with you. The rest are tougher without a healer and a relatively melee oriented group, even in higher levels but they do go down faster, due to gear and more powerful talents.

it was a big warning for me atleast : to not touch/steal stuff which doesnt belong to me.



after first revenant meeting i was a bit more carefull and lost my "OOHHH LOOTBOX... " attitude and first clear rooms and rest before i open strange stuffs

I just use the Magic Re-load button until I succeed.

Ya, that Revenant really made me rethink the word tactics.
