I'm excited to experience another story within the DA world, no question there. Less excited (well not at all to be honest) about the change in graphic style.
That doesn't make me a hater across the board lol
I truly hope the game is a huge success for BW and the graphics wind up being much better than I expect.
One can hope right?

I just want to say to the devs to keep their hearts up despite all the flak they are getting about the changes to DA2. While I admit I am a little concerned about the changes, I trust that Bioware will continue to make the same great games they always have. Don't get discourage because of all the flames you are receiving. You have made great games and you will continue to do so. Keep up the amazing work.
To everyone else, please support the devs. They work hard to provide us with awesome entertainment. Be glad that they are devoted to such excellence.
I don't mean to fill the forum with more clutter, but I felt that the devs need some support and encouragement after all the junk I have read people saying about them.
Once again, Keep up the amazing work devs!
Thanks! Though I'll point out that

They're free to express their discontent, or wait to be convinced. It doesn't hurt our feelings.
But thank you for the vote of confidence.
BTW - Many people 'hang out' in the game's forums because we enjoy socializing and exchanging creative ideas NOT because we "liked everything exactly the way it was". <_<

I like some of the features announced for DA2, and I dislike some others, but I think BioWare will made at the very least a good game and maybe another great game to join the others our Canadian friends have created for us.
Only, I hope DA2 won't be the death of classic rpgs...
Still, if someone has to complain in a constructive way he can do it, since we pay BioWare with our own money to play their games.

I, and many others posted for weeks in the ME2 forums, sometimes with threads aimed directly at the devs, and saw virtually nothing in return. An 'end of line' here or there and that was about the sum of it. Almost nothing from the people who actually worked on the game.
By contrast, I have seen numerous responses from the devs of DA2. It's a regular dialog at times. They don't have to do this; they do it because they care about what we, the fans, think of their efforts.
This is where I commend them, for at least communicating with their fanbase.

Yeah, I agree with this. I can't imagine wading through some of the crap and bile that the devs must go through, so the fact that they do make the effort to communicate with people on here is very much appreciated.

I'm not afraid. I just wanted to continue the Warden's tale, since it didn't feel finished, first. After that, moving on to a new character is great.David Gaider wrote...

Besides, to me, the story and characters are more important than any setting. I don't read Drizzt books because they're set in the Forgotten Realms.

There are multiple negative threads as well. Those have not been closed down; so why should this one be?
