For those who made the ultimate sacrifice, you could instead have a little sequence with mourners (or critics and backbiters) at the warden's tomb.

Ooh! Warden's tomb. Great idea. That'd be a nod to fans, and it'd save 'em money since they wouldn't even have to show everyone's warden. Y'HEAR THAT BIOWARE?! WINK WINK NUDGE NUDGE!

I think they will involved you somehow but I don't think you will actually interact with your old character. I guess we will have to wait and see.

My Warden usually uses a modded appearance (hair, colours). If these are not included in DA2 (and they won't), then what?

It's a stretch, I know, but it would be cool if they could do it somehow...

Although he wasn't fully voiced, didn't the Warden have... well... somewhat of a voice? You can choose between different voices so that the Warden can make a comment on what he/she is doing, so what if he/she makes an appearance using one of the voices that you selected from the first?

Yes, and there's about 30-36 different voice sets. Good luck with that.

Like I said, it's a stretch!

I think it would be entirely possible to have a "mysterious stranger" character with the face of the your Grey Warden appear in the game -- even if only for a brief, cryptic cameo.
For those who made the ultimate sacrifice, you could instead have a little sequence with mourners (or critics and backbiters) at the warden's tomb.
Does the mysterious stranger come with a .44 magnum?

I don't think it'd be too much of a stretch for Flemeth to have some opinions on the Warden, though she might not want to share them immediately.

The Warden did speak, just not in cut scenes.
Indeed, Your Warden may save Hawke, scowl then say'onto the next' or try very hard to say something profound and wise to give guidance to Hawke, but be unable to think of anything and say 'that didn't work'
