Hi people,

I've been playing Mass Effect for a while now, finished many times without problems. I went through the shadow bug, the realtek sound bug and a lava display problem. However, there's still one bug about which I can't find any information.

I play the PC version and since I downloaded bring down the sky, I can't throw grenades anymore even with full stock: changed keybinding, reloaded default, tried to see in the ini files but I didn't find the problem. Searched on internet, on official forums but I never found something similar.
That wasn't a problem so far, I could cope without it no matter the difficulty but there's one place I really need grenades: Feros on a perfect 3rd run as paragon.

If someone has already gone through this problem, has suggestions or even the answer to this problem, I'd be really thankful.

I have not had this problem and dont know how to fix it but if i remember correctly you can also knock out the colonists if you hit them instead of shooting them. It's not the best option but at least you wont have to kill them...

Just make sure to move on quickly once you have punched them in the gob. They wake up sometimes and start shooting again.

Wasn't as easy as grenades (some people were harder to knock out as said) but worked wonders.
Even if my grenades aren't back (and I'm still interested in some advice to have them back), now I can finish my games without problem.

I found out where my problem was coming from !

About the same time I DLed BBtS (over a year ago), I saw it was possible to play shepard as a teamate. I decided to try with Liara to play with another talent set. In fact, only appearance was changed so I deleted the changes, but only partly as I found out.
My character was looking normal but what had been modified still caused a grenade bug.
