Like Loghain, but without there being an Archdemon to take the roll of 'real threat'.

With Darkspawn still running amok, sightings of hordes of giant skyships raining destruction over Thedas are reported. And it is up to Hawke and co to destroy the Reaper fleet.

You're forgetting to add that the Darkspawn are really mutated collectors and that the game begins with the Normandy crash-landing into Ferelden. Shepard, the only survivor, is unconscious for several weeks, during which he grows hair and a beard. He wakes up with amnesia, and the locals name him Hawke.

Apparently, the joke is so funny that it has to be repeated a million times.Celticon wrote...

Why does every good story need an all-powerful demon/god/entity? I, personally, hope there will be more political intrigue, more civil war stuff, humans fighting humans. I want Hawke's enemies to be as powerful as they are mortal.
Like Loghain, but without there being an Archdemon to take the roll of 'real threat'.
If it's more based on political intrigue, that's very promising. It creates more opportunities for dialogue-based quest solutions, as well as a lot of manipulation and scheming opportunities. Being able to ruthlessly play people against one another for personal gain should hopefully be part of the game, too.
The last thing I want to see is another Archdemon. Fighting big dragons is fun, but want my enemies to be a bit more complex than "RAAARRRRRRRRRR!!!! *stomp* RAAAGGHHHH!!!"

Oh, I very much want to stomp a few dragons into the ground. I just don't want the entire story being geared towards stomping one particularly nasty dragon into the ground.

Qun once conquered this region and have since been driven back. Lots of opportunity for Qun/Human conflict.
During the Qun occupation, elves were given equal rights and in many cases were more powerful than humans. When the Qun left, the elves were put back "in their place". Lots of opportunity for elven civil uprising.
The templars in the Free Marches oppress their Circle to a much more dramatic degree than in Ferelden. Lots of opportunity for mage/templar conflict.
If it's anything like DA:O, that will be three major game sections (like Dalish, Orzammar, Circle) - the fourth will be Hawke's time in Ferelden prior to fleeing (like Arl section) and then there will be an endgame section that will be completely unpredictable.

Epic.
Although if you fight your sister, I have a feeling she's more likely to be The Dragon (possessed or brainwashed or such) than the main boss.
