She was going there to attend a High-mage conference that was dealing with entirely freeing the mages from the Chantry. Seeing how a seeker (Is she Orlesian?) is involved in the narration and Since Hawke is going to be become the most important character in Thedas, I would like to suggest that the calamity approaching Thedas, which will make Hawke, the said Badass hero, will be the Mage rebellion...
This will be with Wynne in close proximity as she was already there in Awakening timeline,....

well she propably won't play a main role. if you killed her it would just be unused content, so i think shell propablybe a quest giver like in DA:A or something...

I mean, that's the Holy Grail of gaming. And who doesn't want a little holy in their grail?

Of course, that's a reason why she wouldn't be available as a companion for Hawke, or at least not in the early portion of the game. She's busy!

Remember, the sequel starts during the events in Lothering. Wynne is not only alive, she hasn't even met the Warden when Hawke's story begins.

nice... So she CAN be a companion for a short segment....
Just guessing...

Flemeth is an abomination. That's not the same thing.
Are all of your threads so ridiculously off base as this and the "HAWKE IS DUNCAN'S CHILD!!!11!11!" threads?

Flemeth also needs to find a new body every so often, and Wynne isn't the type to steal someones bodyNarreneth wrote...

I mean I thought the spirit in her was slowly losing its energy(and it lost even more if wynne uses that one spell) thus it would eventually be unable to keep her alive or am I incorrect?thatguy212 wrote...

Wynne is theoretically Immortal. Last we saw her was at the DA:O:A in Amaranthine, going to Nevarra, which is just in the neighbourhood of the main action station (Free marches).

Just like in ME2, people who have the potential of dying will have extremely small roles when it comes to sequels since just say you gave her a major role in DA2 but because she is able to die in the previous game that would mean a lot of wastes resouirces to the people who killed her.
So a cameo at best

Hawke being Duncan's child is not mine... That invention belongs to you...
What is off base about this thread?

At any rate, virtually everything from the title to your bull**** "Tell that to Flemeth" comment.
The title is misleading in that you sound like you are stating a fact. There is no word from BioWare that even remotely hints that Wynne may be a party member based on your decisions.
Second, you said Wynne is immortal. No.
