Could have sworn it was you.

At any rate, virtually everything from the title to your bull**** "Tell that to Flemeth" comment.

The title is misleading in that you sound like you are stating a fact. There is no word from BioWare that even remotely hints that Wynne may be a party member based on your decisions.

Second, you said Wynne is immortal. No.

ummm...

The title is not misleading. I did not claim it was a fact. Possibly is a word intelligently used.

I never claimed she would be a companion. I said a Companion OR an NPC.

Immortality (as in not dying without murder, not the REAL deal) by demonic possession should not be so different that Immortality from a spirit possession, as essentially they are the same creatures...

EDIT: And there is more to the post than the title itself. There is a description. It also contains a nice theory which you are welcome to hate too.

LOL!! But yes.. there has to be One character in the game that you have to hate...

Don't tell nobody! But I hated Morrigan sometimes...

"Kill this dude"

"Don't take that quest... I don't care for the XP (Morrigan Disapproves)"

(Being nice to a quest giver) "WTF??? (Morrigan Disapproves)"

Kissing/making out with other classy/sweet dames "You will sleep alone today buster. and Yes, I still don't call it love!!! And No, that means You can't cheat on me. And yes, I lied when I said your affairs are your affairs(Morrigan Disapproves  -100)"

That woman drove me nuts...

If it wan't for her:
1) LI
2) otherwise street-smart attitude
3) classy answers

I would have seriously hated her on the double....

No. For a few reasons.

She is in Ostagar when Hawke's story starts.

After that she is in the Tower.

When the Warden arrives to the Tower he can either kill her, take her as a companion, or leave her there as a senior or first enchanter. If he killed her, she can't come, if she is a companion, she would be with the Warden, if she was still an enchanter, she would be busy cleaning and sorting out the tower.

And, even if she is alive during the Warden's epilogue, she only has few years to live, according to her of course.

But she was in awakening and told us that she was going to Nevarre.

Remember that Hawke's story takes place in about nine years AFTER end of the fifth blight....

Awakening took place for alomost an year.. and more if possible...

So Hawke could have met her at Nevarre... Or Heck, even at Ostagar...

EDIT: About the companion part, If she has to be a companion (which even I doubt on after-thought) she could be one for a short time.  Bioware has a precedent for this kind of thing. I remember two. Khelgar and Ammon Jerro. Both were NON-COMPULSORY companions in the MoTB. But true, they were definitely alive then... But its DA and things can change....

Wynne is theoretically Immortal. Last we saw her was at the DA:O:A in Amaranthine, going to Nevarra, which is just in the neighbourhood of the main action station (Free marches).

She was going there to attend a High-mage conference that was dealing with entirely freeing the mages from the Chantry. Seeing how a seeker (Is she Orlesian?) is involved in the narration and Since Hawke is going to be become the most important character in Thedas, I would like to suggest that the calamity approaching Thedas, which will make Hawke, the said Badass hero, will be the Mage rebellion...

This will be with Wynne in close proximity as she was already there in Awakening timeline,....

Comments?

You may encounter Wynne on DA2 but she is not inmortal, she says that the spirit has given her a little more time but that's all because the spirit is getting weaker and it will end up diying or going to the fade or watever and then Wynne will die.
But i don't really think Wynne will be again a companion, in fact i don't think that any companion you had on DAO will follow Hawke because we're in a new context and a new adventure, and we already know the past and personality of these characters, so it wouldn't have any point speaking with them or trying to gain their approval again.
