do all the npcs have the same body and interchangeable armors or they have only one or two sets predefined specifically for them?

And what about hawke? does he have a specific body model like shepard where we can choose between 8-10 armors? or can we just change freely sets of armor between any npc and hawke?

I'd assume its like in DAO until they tell us different.

I suspect that the major changes have been the ones they've told us about, since they wanted to get those out of the way.

well id say thebig problem is that dragon age will allow you to control youre party members (on the PC). thatfore we need to know theyre equipment. meaning: one way the equip becomes better with each level or well be able to do the equip our own...

It's probably gonna be like in DA:O. DA2 does still as far as I'm aware have the same traditional RPG combat style. Atleast on the PC.

mass effect was a rather...special case. besides, the combat system we have requires the old armor system. everything else just wont make sense.

I am scared to death everyone keeps the same outfit like mass effect 2. This game sounds so similar to a JRPG its not even funny.

At this point I wouldn't assume anything about this game is even remotely like Dragon Age.

Who would have thought you'd have no character generation or origins storires in DA2? Who would have thought you'd have no inventory whatsoever in Mass Effect 2?

Don't get your hopes up and don't hold your breath. They aren't trying to sell this game to RPG lovers, but rather to casual gamers.

They did mention in another thread that there were going to be different armor looks, at least concerning robes for mages. So I assume the same applies to other companions, whomever they might be.

Concerning casual gamers, I am not one of them, but you just can't generalize that because a player plays casually, he or she can't be RPG lovers. I don't know what casual gaming means to you but from personal experience, casual gaming to me means that said gamer cannot dedicate a lot of time per week on a game when he or she has other things to do in RL. At least that's what I understand casual gaming to be.
