Don't like the Sims, Sports games or driving games, but all the other games on this list were AWESOME.  Good point man.

BTW, did they pull the plug on Mirror's Edge?  For reasons unknown, I LOVED that game.

Well mirrors edge I thought was a stand alone game, cant really see the point of a second, hell I still love playing the first. Who knows maybe a second is in the works. I just hate how everyone says all EA does is make shooters when it is really only a small part of it.

Not every company is out to screw the buyer, come on guys you can't  honestly think Bioware/EA will turn the back on the 3 million people who bought this game just to turn out another MoH or CoD.

Bad Company 2, also.  I mean, I'm not too fond of EA, but simply because they are attached to something doesn't mean it is bad.  It also doesn't mean that something that is bad (or that you think is bad) is entirely EA's fault.  Did any of you EA haters ever consider the possibility that BioWare had long intended to have multiplayer in ME?  That is, of course, assuming that that is even on their plans.  As I said earlier, the whole multiplayer in ME thing is entirely speculative.

And I suppose to answer the OP's title question:  no, I will not boycott BioWare because of multiplayer.  I also think that anyone that will or is even considering it is an idiot.

Hah, yeah.  After I beat it for the second time while doing almost nothing else in the meantime, I thought "Wow, I think this is better than Ocarina of Time."  Then I came to these forums, and saw endless idiotic complaints about how bad the game was.  Facepalms were abundant.

I don't think anyone has ever supported the idea of having 2 Shepards.  Even ones like me who would love coop.  I also wouldn't mind taking a back seat and not contributing to conversations... anything to be able to play Tali/Samara/Thane.

Why did they bring back all the squadmembers!? I WANTED NEW ONES, BIOWARE! 

Also I have a feeling the word "expansion pack sequel" will be thrown around about Mass Effect 3.

OMG, if one more game gets treated like it should've been an expansion pack I am going to lose it.

Yes, both true.  Really, the list could get quite long.  Meanwhile, I'll be off the forums for a month while I play ME3 day in and out.  Fortunately I won't have to worry about grades by then.

Somehow I doubt it's related to ME 3, as I do believe they did intend to expand on the franchise, which could simply be another game. Bioware actually has quite a bit in the way of projects going on.

I let the internet down...  my life is ruined.  Just like what will happen to BioWare if they make an optional multiplayer feature that will have no impact whatsoever on single player, storyline, or game balance.

Also, if they do happen to implement it, I just know that the whiners will blame multiplayer on anything they didn't feel was fleshed out enough.

No, he is in the right place.  See: the first page or so of this thread or about 90% of that "Disappointment" thread.  I think the OP did make the mistake of having an extremely outrageous reaction to something that, despite what some people on this site may force you to try to believe, many people enjoy.  There is a reason that so many people play MMOs and multiplayer shooters, as opposed to SP shooters or traditional RPGs (do SP shooters even exist anymore?  Portal I guess?), and it's not quality.

And why can't they have a 3 player co-op optional campaign? The other two players play as squadmates, and player 1 is Shepard. Only difference is no pausing for power/weapon swap, so perhaps have the d-pad for "hot-swapping" the powers/weapons. It would be 3x as fun. And don't tell me I'm not a true fan, I've been playing BioWare's RPGs since Baldur's Gate in 1998... and they've all been better with co-operative modes.

This is definitely something to note. We have no evidence that all this multiplayer business will have anything to do with ME3.
