That being said, Bioware, I understand EA's probably forcing you to downgrade and make some cuts to reduce costs but are you really certain that there isn't enough leftover profit from DA 1 to hire 4 additional VA's, maybe 1-2 more writers and perhaps add an extra disc so that we aren't all forced to play as the human "master race"?
Is it a problem that EA used all the profits from the first game to cover their losses? Maybe they used it to give extra dividends to the shareholders? Or perhaps the Bioware team spent it all on cocaine/stripper parties? If not then please invest 6.8% more money and time into not forcing everyone to join the noble Aryan race, thank you.

Uh, no, I think not. I can always read a book or two instead.... Actually, with the time I've spent on DA:O, I can read a couple of dozen books. More. Maybe it will be a good thing if they stop making real RPGs.Rubbish Hero wrote...
These games are becoming dead. People are focusing on super streamlined console games as they make more money.

Anyway, this is all BioWare's decision, they have more money/resources with EA not less, and forced to being a human is likely due to the plot, which is BioWare's choice.

Maybe BioWare WANTS to make this type of game. It may share some features with Mass effect (dialogue wheel and VO) but they have assured us the combat will more or less be the same, you will have more freedom than you did with Shepard, etc. Maybe BioWare wants to just move on and work on different ideas. Can't say I blame them.

Also, EA's killed a lot of good game series- anyone still remember Ultima? It's amazing they haven't already bulldozed Bioware's studios to hire more slave labor to work on the sweat drops for LeBron.

Hmm..... yes dude implying that Bioware wasted the money from DAO and demanding things is totally the best way to get what you want.JowyXXV wrote...
Yes, now, I'm aware that DA sold.... hmmm.... MILLIONS OF COPIES.

It's them being lazy and trying to transform into Mass Effect Medieval so they can get a movie deal.

Jumping to conclusions ftw.
EA has killed good things before, yes. Doesn't mean it is a constant business plan, the doctors still have a lot of control.
Just replace your avatar with a sign reading "The End is Nigh" and replace all posts with saying "DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM" if you wish to fill the doom sayer role.

Dear me, a hardcore DA fan, not blindly accepting and cheering everything Bioware does! What madness!
You should apply for a janitorial position there, Narreneth, since it's obvious you enjoy the smell of everything they produce but there are those of us who have more discerning noses.

Consoles are easier to develop for, no matter how much of a nightmare the PS3 is, because you don't need to worry about how some OS will react with your game. or PC vs MAC.
As a buyer you spend 145 USD and your set to play, its just far cheaper.
The only draw back is, the controller, it only has so many buttons, why they haven't brought over keyboard and mouse compatibility to the 360 or PS3 you've got me, because some of these games would be far better, you could even have the option to use it or don't, but whatever.
Console gaming wont kill the PC, anytime soon, but the next generation will be interesting.

Let me get this right, you go onto the internet, proclaim a religious belief, and get offended when someone mocks you. . .Rubbish Hero wrote...

Maker help you.
If you didn't wanna be scrutinized, than don't open your mouth. Or if you do, don't take offense, thats what they want, its like blood in the water.
Internet 101, if someone can make fun of you, they will make fun of you.
Remember the more you know the more you grow.
