So, seems like a good time for a poll to let the devs know what you think at this stage of the announcement. Hopefully your reaction is covered.

Voiced Protagonist: Cannot decide until i know who will be doing the acting (cautious or uncertain)
New Art Direction: Displeased, as that is the only change to the dev team i know of.
Single Race: Reluctant acceptance.
One Origin: Positive (allows more work in other areas.
Constant ragegasms on this site: A priceless glance into the human mind, and only making me want it more.

Out of curiosity, care to share? Not sure if I can edit the poll options or not.
Not disliking anything I've heard so far (which is very little) makes me a "fanboi?" That's stupid. Besides, I'm female.
Not voting until you remove the loaded terms.

I think it's meant to be a bit tongue in cheek. So, lighten up on the OP?Riona45 wrote...

I would never hate a kitten, for instance. If a dev was riding it, I'd even try to rescue it.

Riona, my apologies if you took that as a serious label. Notice I also used 'Hater' for those who dislike all of it too. Likewise, the term 'Nerd-raging'. My intent was to try defusing the way those labels are being thrown about by people with opposing views. And maybe to get a laugh along the way. No offense intended and if you choose not to vote then that's absolutely your right.

Well, I thought it was funny and very even handed in it's over the topness. I'm thinking there's a derth of humor around here.... You can't hold yourself responsible for that, Craig.

The problem isn't that there's no humor around here, it's that generally speaking most people take exception to being called anything, even if everyone is being treated fairly. If I were to call you pretentious (I'm not, let's just say I am though) and then say that it's okay because I am also pretentious, chances are you'd still get upset about being called pretentious.

A good and funny poll, but you're going to have to list more permutations in the concerned part. I think many people have more than two concerns, but don't dislike everything.
And you're right, more permutations would be good....I just thought that 20 was about the max that people would read through and getting too detailed in surveys can sometimes reduce the usefulness of the data by spreading our the limited number of respondents over too many categories.
I also thought I could go back and add/edit options as needed. Apparently, I was wrong about that bit though.

It was pretty obvious that the poll was humorous, so that's really quite a different thing.Narreneth wrote...

Don't worry, your poll won't be the last one. It's also not the first. There will be other chances to get the general stance of the forum community for sure.

No, it's really not. Obvious or not people tend to take exception to things.
You'd know this if you weren't so clearly ugly, stupid, pretentious, nerd-ragey, and incompetent.
I'm kidding, of course.

If people take exception to anything written in this poll they need to grow some thicker skin, lock themselves in a room for several hours and recite "Stick and Stones" over and over again. It was a joke and there's nothing there for anyone to get riled up about.
