I was a little confused when I found out that certain enemies don't actually bleed black as they should. Not sure if a post like this was made else where, but I wonder how difficult it would be to change the blood colour of Darkspawn considering all the important lore regarding it. I'm surprised it isn't in the game to begin with.

Anywhos, thank you for reading my post oh great modders of the community. You are my heroes.

Not only that, but everything seems to bleed, even when they (presumably) don't have blood. The animated sentinel armour things for instance. Blood everywhere, then they collapse into a bunch of bones.  Dragon Age sure loves blood. Certainly being able to change the bleeding characteristics of different critters would be useful.

Spiders ought not to be collapsing into red blood either. Spider blood is blueish, because it uses hemocyanin, not hemoglobin.

Yes, I found that odd too. I can understand that they wanted the game to be as bloody as possible, but somethings just stick out I feel. I also think there are too many splatters on the armour. I found the "Less Blood" mod, but that was too little. We need a happy medium!

There is a setting in some of the 2da files if I remember that contains blood colour. Thus a person should be able to change this from creature to creature if I am not mistaken. We need pink blood for evil Wereponies.

besides changing the pools of blood under dead bodies to black, do you know if its possible to blood pols from dissapearing?  is there some sort of timer?  i would also like to see a mod that keeps bodies from dissapearing as well.  it seem like it varies from 10-20 seconds after a kill is made and blood spills out...

I've been playing around with the toolset and files, but I must admit I'm quite an idiot with this toolet. I was wondering if anyone else has looked into blood colour? If not If someone could give me a pointer that would also be appreciated. I'm going to keep looking as I'd love to get it done. I think it would add a lot to the game from a lore perspective.

I haven't, but I wondered back then if we could also change the splatter on the PCs. I'm not a gore-buff, but it might look strange if darkspawn bled black blood but the PC was covered in the plain old red stuff (maybe you could say it's their own blood, but hey).

I'd like to see that as well. It would be interesting if we could get a mix of both black and red, say if you were fighting darkspawn then killed a wolf. I have a feeling this might not be possible though. If it is it would be difficut I bet.
