Dammit.  The brilliancy of my argumentation has been refudiated.  Also.

Well, that could have been a double bluff. Image IPB

Obviously Lantier is made by Ice... I can't think of any other chemical element that MELTS into water... hmm... Well, I guess that something in the process of melting even gets sublimed (or how you say it) and remains just water, it might happen... Humm... Ice with Solid CO2? Lovely.

Image IPB Personally, I preferred the water!

Oh dear, what have I started? Image IPB You know, it's fine, I'm reconciled to 'about x time ago'.

I am being evil all the time. But if you wish to SEE evil, go to the Dragon Age 2 forums... say something wrong and they'll start bashing and insulting you. This place is like 2000 times more evil than the old boards. Also, if you wish to die, go to the tali thread in ME2 forums and say she sucks... Don't wonder if you find someone with a chainsaw in front of your house in 10 minutes.

I don't know about the others, but at least that one is correct.

Oh—my—gawd! I was just shambling my way through and acquainting myself with the new forum, and I happened upon this little gem of a thread.

Well, I guess I'll just pop in and make a note to all you lovely peeps that I'm still around. I've just been reduced to lurking status, as 'o late.

Have fun, guys! And remember: I'm watching yoo-oooooooooo... (oooooooo...)

Hi everyone! Not sure if anyone remembers, but I used the same name back at the old forum.

I finally have my bg2 working again after messing up with uninstalling it. Am thinking of going for a no reload game again, as I just started a new game, but I think I'll just play it quietly for a while. I'll probably just die embarrassingly in the beginning, and if I do, no one needs to know.

Lantier is dead and buried.  He made the mistake of straying from the path of pure BG goodness into the world of NWN.  An unforgiveable sin.  I have eaten his soul and stolen his R*t Bastard save game files.

Hey, I for one am an NWN- (and even NWN2-) player and still play BG! I even started modding it not long ago!

I definitely shed a solitary tear when I visited the old boards on one of my weekly skirmishes. Hopefully these boards will bring about a new group of memorable posters .... although I have a feeling they may be DA:O tards ...

You mean the "You know I tried Baldur's Gate the other day after hearing it was the father of Dragon age and I gotta say the graphics suxx badly, omfg, I can't play it, my eyes are bleeding. And omg, there is no 100% voicing, I can't read that much!!!"

Still, the more the normal (crazy) people here, the better really. Welcome to the family :D

Hello all good old names, I made the switch too from the old forum and recently even found an avatar I liked here (though I do miss my scared little boy-avatar). :kissing:

I am a "You know I tried Dragon Age the other day after hearing it was the successor to Baldur's Gate I gotta say the NPC's suck. OMG they're all so nice but I can't tell them apart, they don't seem to have a real personality and OMG, there's incredibily long dialogues where I can't click continue after I've read 'em". The graphics are nice though

Note that on these forums you can say things like "dammit" "hell" or "U s00ckorz" without getting banned. So go with it, be evil! :o :o :o

You can't say the f-word though, I found out: ****.

Careful, using alternate methods to get around filters can get you in trouble, too.

I'm still trying to get over the 3 letter words starting with A. It's so hard to make a change from this point of view. In the old forums saying that word with three letters would probably even get you banned (if not a warning... well, I got a warning :o ) here... I can see it all around... along with nastier things. I wonder if treating people better, or not banning them, is just something strictly related to marketing... Could sound absurd, yet...

Don't be going off on a tangent. That leads to dark places where threads end.
