To buy a game that you cannot use with a ridiculous activation Code, that doesn't work. What a lot of hype for nothing. If you are going to require activation, at least the start of the game should take you to the site.

Then Register to log in then  you could search for friends whatever ........ Wheres activation?  I Logged in  and got the relpying Email.  I registered the game got the email Still No activation Code Anywhere!????  How's it supposed to work? Maybe the Numbers I used were promo redemming numbers have I stuffed it up .

I'm just frustrated that a game I bought cannot be played without all this Bull---.

Any suggestions?

How about posting in the correct forum, for a start?

Now this isn't going to be the most helpful in terms of your problem, but chill brohan. Secondly I doubt you are going to get an adequate response by posting this in the Dragon Age 2 sub-forum. I'd suggest re-making the thread (in a calmer fashion) in one of the technical support sub-forums.

EDIT

Dammit I got Ninja'd

-eh-

what?

There's a serial number on the back on the manual (both Origins and Awakenings) You'll need this to install both Origins and Awakenings.

What activation? for the game? The retail game only uses a disc check and the serial number.

In order to download DLC, you'll need to register and activate and account on these forums. If this is done so, or you didn't receive the activation email for Bioware Social Network, you should post in the social.bioware.help forums. (can be found by scrolling down on the forum's main site)
Normally you'd get an email, then get a link to click on. This will you to a site where your account will be activated for this social network. However, if you have bought the game via EA store, Steam, or another online service, there will be an activation code...

My Apologies guys, sorry about the inappropriate placement and Vitriole. It cleared the air here, although the neighbours 5 blocks away heard the Rant. The game loaded after I calmed down enough to find the Correct code on the back of the manual. Who knows to look there?

Thanks Viv

Lol I know. Every time I buy a new game I look for the activation code on my shoes, but for some reason it's not there... :P

My roommate decided to read the manual for one of my favourite games once... then he lost it... it wasn't installed at the time. Bastard. Now I play with a pirated key and worry that the internet police will come and poke at me with sticks for it.

/not really related

Keys are usually at the back of the manual.

I do, they make great reading when you need something to read for five minutes.

Bah reading the manual is for pansies, if you can't figure out how to work it you just beat it into submission. Your will just has to be stronger then the games.
