This is the message I get when I try to run the toolset or NWN2 directly; the loader starts fine but fails to start NWN2. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but it didn't do any good; the uninstaller crashes when I click finish. The game ran fine until yesterday when I ran a system restore and it stopped working. I'm downloading DirectX/.Net Frameworks to see if that is the issue. If not I'm really at a loss. I don't think my system specifications are important seeing as it ran on patch 1.23.1765 until I did the restore.


I noticed a thread with the same issue and I am going to re-download all of the patches and see if that does the trick.

Make sure .NET Framework is updated to version 3.5 (check the Microsoft download site for the updates).
