@Chignon & Sage:

Noah and Kyrie are two of my absolute favourite Shepards. Very iconic! And the fact that they are both biotics doesn't exactly make that impression any less photogenic.

daw, thanks. i now have this pic in my head of kyrie and noah in a biotic training class picture. everyone else in the class would be sitting slightly apart - a little afraid of them. :devil:

 I, for one, would love to have the ability to shoot lasers out of my breasts. =]

I was a little bored so I found myself fiddling around with a screenshot from Garrus' loyalty mission: also known as the mission with the most interesting lighting. I was shooting for a slight spiritual feel which fits well with the whole cyber-Jesus thing ME2 has going on. :P I had trouble adjusting the blush intensity as Devi's blush in this scene looks more like harsh bruise than anything else.

oaky, I am not usually one to brag (lies) but I have once AGAIN recreated Kallen shepard from scratch in mint condition to change her class to Adept (I blame sagequeen) and so she can give Kaidan's romance a try. I didn't think I had done it when I left the CC but in action she looks exactly like her other file on my Xbox. damn I'm good.

quick question: i'm feeling ME-ADD to the nth degree. anyone got some advice for rekindling the love of a single femshep braincanon?

all i seem to do is flip-flop around between the 10-odd shepards i have developed. i love all equally, but am getting dizzy.

@Sage: "Cyber-Saint-Devi" is now her unofficial name. Thanks for the laugh.

@Skcm: Have you finished a complete game with any of your characters? Maybe it would help to create a briefing file on one of your characters---if you haven't done so already.

I have never thought of a briefing file of any sort, let alone writing about a game character in months!  This might be a good idea.  With regards to completionism, I've played a lot more characters through ME1, but a couple have finished everything we have so far, game-wise.

Kate!

I really missed seeing her, Les. You should post screenshots of her more often - especially in that awesome sweatshirt. I'm sure Liara approves of it, too. (;

:o

ooh! DO get screencaps of this, please. i wanna see. adept is FUNSIES! if you do try barrier as a bonus power, i seriously recommend hitting it gratuitously, just before cutscenes, so kallen can look awesome hot in blue while everyone else is so much less awesome-sparkly.

barrier makes shepard sparkle like a twighlight vampire, only without making shepard totally stupid in the process.

haha I will try my best! since my back on my Xbox (can't seem to find the PC version of me1 anywhere that's not Ebay) but I will do my best! oh and I plan on hitting barrier everytime it rechrages, makes her sort of look camoflaged like space batman.  Admitedly I have yet to make an official "briefing file" for any of my characters. I have a general idea of how I want them to act and with Devi, a rough idea of her childhood but everyone else in this thread puts me to shame as far as character building goes. :pinched: This doesn't mean I don't feel attached to my characters, but it's something I should fix before ME3 comes out. Why must I be such a procastinator!

I encourage you all to do the same with your Femshep photos. Yeah, I'm being serious.

Why must I be such a procastinator!

You're tellin' me, Files :P  The minute I get inspired to do something creative... I.

Well, Blingee still counts, right?

The only time it ever became irritating was on my sniper Infiltrator.  That was the only time I ever started getting frustrated with Kaidan.  I was constantly going "Okay, I've got him in my sights... lining up the shot... almost there... WHERE DID HE GO?  DAMNIT, KAIDAN!", as my target got Thrown or Pulled or otherwise zipped away.  :pinched:  It was pretty hilarious.

YES! and that shep rocks! i like her looks.

re: multi-shep syndrome. i really have trouble doing any shep that isn't kyrie, but i had that problem with da:o. i had a bazillion characters & only finished with one. for me, it really came down to making a character that looked as awesome as morrigan. seriously, that was my metric. she's so sexy, i had to make a character that could be even more charismatic than her - at least in my head. so with da:o, my final incarnation was reached when my warden looked "right" for the world.

eh... mebbe that's not all that helpful - awfully subjective. but for me, i feel like i've hit on the "right" character when they look and - to me "feel" like they belong in the story i want the VG to tell - and i might want to tell a few different versions of the story. but anyhow, for me, da:o had a human noble rogue who looked like a scrappy little sister to a knight and romanced no one, an elf mage who sacrificed herself and left zevran heartbroken, and ME ended up with kyrie.

Thankya.  Trinket animates really well, which of course screenshots can never tell you ;_;

re: multi-shep syndrome. i really have trouble doing any shep that isn't kyrie, but i had that problem with da:o. i had a bazillion characters & only finished with one.

for all the shepards I have, add like 20 more. I spend half my da:o time in char creation or toolset though, at this rate i should be designing npc overhaul packs, but i am FAR FAR too vain for that and stick to player characters ;)

for me, it really came down to making a character that looked as awesome as morrigan. seriously, that was my metric. she's so sexy, i had to make a character that could be even more charismatic than her - at least in my head.

haha, my characters in da:o are not very charismatic.  my dwarf noble headcanon tends to be headstrong, traditional, snippy at times, and a little vindictive.  i am still playing her on a seemingly infinite loop of joy, even though all my da:o characters are named after internet applications now.  YouTube Mahariel is pretty cute.
i think Morrigan is sort of the be all and end all of BAMF in da:o, too, unless you count maybe flemeth.  or loghain, who makes me cry most of the time out of sheer love.

with kyrie, my final incarnation was reached when she looked "right" for the world.

i know what you mean about this.  i've had a couple faces that just -work- and honestly, the personalities grow while i'm creating them in the first few screens of me1.  i have a pretty hyperactive imagination and it helps me a lot there!  so hard to settle on ONE who feels *just right* though, for me.  :P

eh... mebbe that's not all that helpful - awfully subjective. but for me, i feel like i've hit on the "right" character when they look and - to me "feel" like they belong in the story i want the VG to tell. so for me, da:o had a human noble rogue who looked like a scrappy little sister to a knight, and ME ended up with kyrie.

it makes perfect sense to me and is pretty solid advice.  actually, thanks a ton, what works for you is actually pretty universal.  which i just started to type as "unicorn"--gotta lay off the coffee.
thanks for the input, femshep thread :)  i think i have a handful of things to try out and a renewed sense of perspective.

Her name's Trinket.  Most of my "Album" for her is in...well...a giant Fraps folder on my D drive.  :P

I'll upload some to BSN after I fish through that drive :D

I used to have a lot of fun towing Garrus around. HMWSR + HE X + Assassination = extreme lulz. Anything that wasn't instantly vaporised received an extremely prejudicial lesson from the physics engine.

Combat certainly handles a lot better in ME2, but some of the fun is gone as well.

HELL. YEAH. Kat was just bouncing people around the map. it was especially fun seinding Kiara Sterling (dirty cop on Noveria) around synthetic insights. it's funny cuz that's the only time I have to leave scope to see if I made the shot or not.Image IPB
