And apparently I've done so well on YouTube they upgraded my account for longer videos... not that I'll ever make anything 15 minutes long.

hmm, I was actually going to play my adept with slam as bonus power (haven't been reading any guides, just making it up as I go along) but now I'm curious to find out about barrier/bastion shep. I'm playing my soldier femshep through ME1 right now and after adept, she feels ....bare.. need to figure her out all over again I suppose (though sniping is pretty fun...when I get a chance to snipe anyways, somehow assault rifles feel weaker then pistols O_O)

I agree with one point in particular: anyone who says there's only one build that works on higher difficulties is either an idiot or - frankly - not that great. You can make nearly anything work in ME2.

And leave my singularity Vanguard alone. She's not overpowered at all

Great vid Sage.  I havent played an Adept since my first playthrough and fancy trying it again now.  I used Slam as my bonus power my first time round and enjoyed it. I used pull to get them a good distance off the ground then used slam to ram them from 100ft in the air to the ground!  

So like you said at the start its how you like to play and not whats "best".   I always thought people looked to much into bonus power usage in ME2.

I've never tried barrier as a bonus skill for the adept. The long cool down time always bothers me on it and all the defence skills. I used stasis on my adept personally. Yeah it's bugged with the damage multiplyer, but I find it useful to be able to lock down an enemy for a few seconds, especially things like YMIRs. Plus the knockdown effect is really handy when it wears off.

As for warp in ME1, I use it all the time. You can take down a krogan/geth prime in seconds when it's affected by warp. It even works on Saren & Sovereign, though it doesn't last very long against the latter.

Might have to do another play through with Lenneth now, after watching that. I wants to destroy things with biotics!

Loved the video Sage, I've played an adept but not for my insanity achievement. I might eventually go back to it and try it out again on insanity in the future although I have a feeling I'm going to be preoccupied by DA2 for quite a while once it comes out.

@ ELE, aislinn - heh, well, you can call kyrie by whatever. i pronounced it like "Keeree" - as in the end of how i pronounce "valkyrie"- or that mister mister song, "kyrie eléison". or the latin chant, "kyrie eléison", i guess.

anyhoo...

yeah! bastion/barrier. i, too, felt shep was nekked without barrier. getting footage of reave for the vids was brutal because i kept trying to put on barrier and it wasn't there. and once you get barrier near maxed out, it recharges so dang fast and lasts so long with bastion that you can often slap it on, wait a second, and you have a second skill ready to go. i've got a lot of gameplay footage i need to cobble together to demonstrate, but i think you'll see what i mean.

thanks for the encouragement guys. i'm hoping to get the rest of the guide up soon. internet is crawling at my place, so the longest part was the upload, actually. gotta call the cable company, i think...

oh, and @ sentox - vanguard + singularity is insanely overpowered. i didn't mean that as a bad thing, either. biotic brutality, really.

I think you have the perfect voice for this sort of thing.  You're not a teacher are you?  Sagequeen commands respect!  I personally have a horrendous speaking voice.

Maybe I should have said presentation voice?  My regular voice is fine as far as I know, it's just not the kind you want to give speeches with.

I agree with this,if Hale were to come down with some throat sicknss and couldn't speak,I'd ote sagequeen for her replacement!!!
