Actually I think they wanted a 'injured' Shepard in ME 2. He / She did get spaced and the body fell to the planet when the old Normandy died. Don't get me wrong though I would like to see the old ME 1 animations back for FemShep too!

This.  If you notice, the shoulder she's constantly rotating when she stands idle is the same as the side where Legion used her armor as a patch.  The limp doesn't carry over into armor because the armor supports whatever injury she was supposed to have.  (My bet's on a crappy sciatic nerve reconstruction or a mechanical hip flexor that doesn't work right.) I even wrote it into Loved.

I thought of this too, but it never occured to me that the Armor could be supporting her movement / walking in a medical sense (in retrospect those armor plates don't look to flexible, so the torso could be forced into an actual position).
But all those limping must be a real strain on her body, in addition to all those 'Upgrades' her body recieved over the time. :?

PS: Because they're both awesome

Femshep question time! has anyone changed the class of their Shepard from me1 to Me2 and if so how do you think your Shepard would have reacted to it?

Nope.  Both my FemShep's classes are cemented to their personalities.  Kathryn has no biotic gifts to speak of and isn't a highly trained tech specialist either.  So soldier fits her well.  I wanted Shai to be a biotic and her inner rage makes her a perfect fit for the Vanguard.

That being said... like so much in ME2, the idea was good... the implementation was... questionable.

Isn't that ME2 in a nutshell? ;)

LadyHawke walk: I love the way LadyHawke walks and I do wish they would have femShep walk the same way, w/ just wee bit less of a wiggle.  The way LadyHawke runs is a different matter.  The animations are fine, but she appears to have no weight to her.  She seems to "float" across the terrain.  I thought it was a glitch at first as there is a glitch in DA:O that can appear and make characters "float" across the ground.

I'm thinking of switching Erica to a Sentinel, but I'm not sure.  She is currently a soldier.
UJ will always be a Vanguard.  Charge is her therapy. How else is she supposed to maintain her sunny disposition?

Alexis stayed a Vanguard in both games.

Valerie changed from Soldier to Infiltrator. It's not really a big change for her though since she predominantly used her sniper rifle during ME1. (And I found myself a bit bored playing straight Soldier when I first started her in ME2. I had already played Soldier with my "default" Shepard.)

Besides, now she can challenge her favorite turian to head shot contests. ^_^

Yes,

Amelia went from Soldier to Vanguard.   I even explained how in her bio  :)

Yes I went geeky technical explaining how it happend too!!

In terms of her reaction to it. hmmm its not something I considered too deeply actually.  Im sure she would have understood why Cerberus rebuilt her with it and to be honest when you come back from the dead you expect to be missing a few things. Like limbs or memories. I think she would secretly be thankful of what Cerberus has done, but she would know too it would be just a cloud used by TIM to sway her.

Heck yes

I keep the same class between games for the sake of continuity.

Teagan - infiltrator in ME1 & ME2, biotic bonus power for both (ME1 barrier, ME2 slam)
Caroline - infiltrator in ME1 & ME2, tech bonus powers to stay in line with class

Yes, it changed. And yes, she was quite confused, but she adapts quickly when under pressure.
I licked a bit of that in this entry, but not much as those notes are kinda brief and I'd like to rewrite some of them. And excuse me my poor writing too.

All my current femShep(s) are the same class than in ME1. There's one thing however, she's an adept with assault rifle training so the first reaction to that was "Perkele! Missä on mun rynkky?!?". :D

Yeah, for now. Like I said, I can always change if I get bored of it, but they are definitely growing on me.

RE: the question about changing specialties...

Not with Artemis. She has a name to live up to, so she's an infiltrator. Once a huntress, always a huntress.

I love the Blasto shirt! So cute!  I could see MacKenzie sporting that.

None of my FemShep's classes changed from ME1 to ME2. Holly has always been an Infiltrator. Due to the fact I personally love sniper classes. It's my favorite by far. I associate the class heavily with the FemShep's personality. I would never change their classes.

Here is another posting for ya peeps to check out. . I did my best to 'lighten' it a tad otherwise it would end up a dark blob!

A Lesser Seen Side of Illium
Image IPB
Lynn: "Stealing cookies again? Hum?"
Vorcha: "Oh crap. Uh, no we er uh I don't know what cookies are."
Lynn: "So you have friends here too?"
Vorcha: *nervous* "Nnnn, no?"
Lynn: *sighs* "What are you doing on Illium?"

Lynn: *puzzled* "Wait a sec. Just how did you get on Illium?"
Vorcha: "Ummm. . . Uhhhh. . . "

Poor Vorcha. . . Can anyone guess what will happen next?

(Oh I almost forgot to comment. . . Lynn's gone from Vanguard to Adept. . . which strangely she probabily dosen't realize as much of a shift other than she has a few new strange powers!)

(I have played her in other classes as well but only for fun and because I wanted to check them out!)

GL out there!

Jacob is interesting. I like him a lot as a character. It's just difficult for people to see that due to other terrible lines in his romance.

"If you're looking for someone to help, why don't you go hang on Thane or Garrus..."

That was kind of a low blow, though, Jacob... brrrrr.  That line kinda raised my hackles.

It does serve her right for pushing the issue, though.  If the man says leave him alone about his dad, leave him alone!
